My constituents told me to vote no on the $1.3 billion VW project ($400 million of which is taxpayer cash). But the swamp wants me to ignore those “back home.” I’ll always listen to my constituents far more than lobbyists, big corps, other legislators, or unelected bureaucrats.

Too many conservatives say they feel like sitting out of the runoff elections. I get it—your (our?) preferred candidate didn’t win. But taking the ball & going home should NEVER be the option. I’m currently not endorsing in the Governor’s race, but I will be voting. Listen to the candidates final pitches and exercise your fundamental right that others purchased with their blood. And Republicans—realize that if you are pushing people “not to show up” in a run off they likely will do the same in the general. Don’t let frustration, mudslinging, and dashed hopes lead to losing our state to radical Leftists determined to destroy our economy, values, and culture. Patriots do their duty and keep fighting.

When Indiana State Senators refused to redistrict as President Trump asked, we primaried them. We have the same situation in South Carolina. Senate Majority Leader Shane Massey (District 25), who is known for being corrupt, sabotaged the redistricting. Let's primary him in 2028!

Here’s some more facts about the Governor candidates— @PamelaEvette is a genuine and kind person. She shows up. Over the years I’ve seen her in person at events and in the State House more than any other statewide elected official by far. @AGAlanWilson is sharp. He’s a great speaker and debater. Both he and his father are some of the best retail politicians in SC. He’s very likable, and does in fact work with everyone at times—even those Freedom Caucus guys. @NancyMace is a force. I served with her in the State House and saw firsthand she is fearless. She is also a workhorse who is incredibly talented. We have fought the radical Left together in the past, and I’m sure we will in the future. @RomReddySC invested a ton of his money and time into something he strongly believes in, and he delved deeply into the issues. He ran a fascinating campaign that most will take elements from in the future. @RalphNorman is a consummate gentleman—honest, frank, bold, and a true statesman. He fundamentally changed the institutions in which he served—State House and Congress. I doubt I could ever find a more honorable running mate. The polls close soon, and I know all the candidates eagerly await the results of months of grueling work. Yes, I have been a vocal critic. But I respect these people, and anyone willing to throw their hat in the ring. And come November we all better be unified for the good of our beloved state.
