In adtech, cynicism is the default.
Cynical takes sound smart. They get likes, which feeds the algorithm (thus your feed) and the ego.
There is a darker side to this. Stay in that mindset too long and it becomes identity. Cynics lose the ability to see progress, let alone possibility.
Optimists build, explore, win.
Eyes open at all times but default optimism.
I see too much negativity on my feed across all social media. A lot of people are just trying to bash their competition or anyone that remotely threatens them. You know why you never see me speak badly on my direct competition? I don't fear competition, results speak for themselves. How about everyone focuses on the good things going on in the industry rather than just using negativity for clout. I apologize for the rant, but damnnnn it annoys me.
