Personal News: Unfortunately, my blood cancer has progressed to a stage where I require more intensive treatment, namely long-term low dose chemotherapy or a Cancer Growth Blocker of the JAK2 gene. As a result, I may be less active over the coming months whilst I adjust to the side effects. I am part of the MITHRIDATE clinical trial, which will see me receive either the usual 1st line treatment of Hydroxyurea or what can be a 2nd line treatment; Ruxolitinib. The drug is already used for my condition, but the NHS currently won't pay for it until there's more evidence of its effectiveness due to its cost. This is the stage 3 trial to see if it is more effective giving as a 1st treatment. Stages 1 and 2 showed very positive results. It is hoped that whichever treatment I receive will improve my symptoms and blood results after I adjust, as the last few months have seen me become severely impaired to the point I can't get out of bed. The trial is run and supported by @CR_UK, @MPNVoice, @unibirmingham, The French National Cancer Institute (INCa) with @NovartisCancer providing Ruxolitinib free of charge. NHS Highland's amazing Haematology team is looking after me locally.

You can vehemently disagree with Palestine Action activists goals, whilst simultaneously be horrified a judge can decide AFTER a conviction if it was terrorism related amd double a sentence. Being able to class an offense as terrorism AFTER conviction without charging them with terrorism should bother everyone. Any protest action that is now determined as trying to "change government policy" can have this applied. So today it's Palestine Action, but next it'll be immigration protests, farmers protests, NHS, tax etc etc.

Given former West Ham Chairman David Sullivan's High Court anonymity order is now void, I'm somewhat surprised @X has bowed to pressure from his solicitors to limit my posts about him... Why do alleged billionaire sexual predators get special treatment @elonmusk?

If the BBC looked like they'd spent a lot, your employer the Daily Mail would be lighting them up saying their "overpaid" pundits are getting free holidays at our expense.
The ITV World Cup set is incredible, stunning view of the Manhattan skyline. Puts the BBC to shame. Cost-saving arguments are understandable, but the World Cup is the pinnacle of football - the location of the primary public service broadcaster should showcase that.

To all those cynics who said Panorama was weak or underwhelming, and you know who you are, you clearly don’t understand how this stuff works and I hope this in time shows why it was so important.

FIFA stripped the U20 World Cup from Indonesia after they refused to host Israel.
Infantino was asked by a BBC journalist if he's embarrassed by what has come to pass and does he accept he's lost control of his tournament here. His response: “in 2035, the Women’s World Cup, I think, will be in the UK. Would you find it normal that FIFA will dictate to the British government who to let in the country and who not to let in?” #FIFAWorldCup

Interestingly for David Sullivan's solicitors may he the fact they tpld High Court the former Chairman faced no restrictions at the club, something went now know is false. A condition of his anonymity order was it would be voided if any disciplinary, regulatory or safeguarding action was taken. Lying to the High Court...

MY TAKE ON THE BBC PANORAMA EXPOSÉ FOR WEST HAM. We all wanted him and Brady out. The BBC enabled this. We all knew who he was. Now the whole world knows. Was it as hard hitting as hoped. Maybe not. AP care homes, Brady and Ampika will be next. The FA and the PL are next.

There’s so much more I want to say and so much more to come out, this is just the tip of the iceberg as many of you know. David Sullivan has used classic abuser fear and litigation tactics to keep everyone silent from even mentioning his name, and his denial that any of it even happened is blatantly him just continuing to think he can gaslight the nation… I commend all the women that have come forward, the worst the ‘interview’ was for them, the harder it is to even think about it, let alone talk about it I know there are so many more out there, and I appeal to all to reach out to me with no fear of his power anymore For now I just want to wholeheartedly thank EVERYONE for all the support, thanks to all the journalists who have fought with us, as when the police let all the victims down, without the press help and putting serious time and millions of pounds resources into it, we women would have had no chance to speak about this man 🙏 To the real West Ham fans I salute you, with your help and support we can together make a difference for our daughters futures, stop them being groomed into sex work, and stop this pattern of the predator ever happening again To each and everyone of you thank you, those that know me know that I believe in people power and freedom of expression, peace, love, unity and respect, we are one ☝️ There’s much more of this story on what happened when I tried to talk about it on my YouTube and Substack, more to follow (link in bio) Thank you for listening 🙏🙏💪

South Africa, Germany and other recent #WorldCup hosts were forced by FIFA to promise all accredited officials, players and staff would be guaranteed visas and minimal immigration interference for the tournament duration. Why is the United States exempt from that @FIFAcom?

This is the absurdity people warned about. How are journalists meant to cover a multi-country WC if following a team to Canada or Mexico means they may not be allowed back into the US? It’s discriminatory, impractical, and completely undermines the idea of a global tournament.
The visa dynamics for the World Cup are really confusing. Some African journalists given single entry visas to the US meaning if their team travels to play in Canada they can't come back to the USA Its rather absurd @soka25east
