Story from MerrimacSHS FB from last week of school year. It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas & this week students in our Makerspace have been building electronic Christmas trees & alarm clocks. Happy kids showing off their efforts.@HackSpaceMag@qsite@JoachimCohen123
Another of Mel's Projects in collab with Lochie Ashcroft. An arcade recycle bin that uses cans and PET bottles as tokens to play. Extended video shows group pitching their idea at the 2016 Gold Coast Telstra Technology awards. @qsite, @JoachimCohen123youtu.be/SU0C8QzXuhM

Hi champ @timmiclark. Tank look familiar? This is one of my year 12 kids. Powered by an Ardunio and fitted with a Pixi cam. She trained it to do image recognition and follow a blue ball.
Busy term 4. Kids won the Australian Robotics Challenge. The best school prize was a NAO which we took delivery of today. Kids won the Gold CoastTelstra tech awards and have been busy with their robotics projects and a bit 3D printing and cnc milling
