In upholding the proscription of Palestine Action, Lady Chief Justice Baroness Carr showed she was historically illiterate. Contrary to her claims, the Sufragettes were neither a peaceful civil disobedience group nor did they operate "transparently in the open". Their hundreds of bombing and arson attacks are known to have injured at least two dozen people, many of them postal workers, left with severe burns. Their bomb and arson squads organised this violence through underground cells. Leaders were kept in a network of safe houses to avoid discovery by police. And leader Emmeline Pankhurst used body doubles and assumed names to evade police capture. There's even a 2015 Hollywood movie, Sufragette, showing all this. This sudden level of ignorance by our political and judicial class is entirely manufactured. The Sufragette movement was far, far more violent and clandestine than anything Palestine Action has been doing. That's not an argument against the Suffragettes. It's argument exposing the utter hypocrisy of the politicians, judges and media peddling lies to justify crushing an organisation trying to expose UK government complicity in Israel's genocide.

so much sympathy for today's kids. every aspect of their lives has been impoverished, there are no spaces for them, everything is prohibitively expensive, the planet is dying, they're being repeatedly infected, and the solution is apparently to further isolate them digitally.

Some of those women gave everything so you could sit in that chair, and you repay them by rewriting and erasing their stories, to give cover for genocide. Absolutely pathetic.
The Lady Chief Justice: Palestine Action was not a direct action civil disobedience protest group like the suffragettes, but used violence to destroy property The suffragettes burned down country houses & train stations, bombed churches & sent letter bombs to politicians.

Apartheid South Africa and Nazi Germany needed compliant judges to provide a legal veneer to their darkest crimes. Judge Johnson joins their wretched company. He overturned a jury's conviction of four anti-genocide activists for criminal damage and sentenced them as terrorists instead. As one their barristers pointed out, the four defendants were initially arrested by police on suspicion of involvement in an act of terrorism. But the prosecution decided not to charge them with terrorism offences because it knew no jury would ever convict them based on the evidence. Instead the Crown held two trials: a sham one for the jury, and the real one conducted in secret by the judge. That is not justice. It is a show trial worthy of the worst tyrannical regimes.
Hereโ€™s injustice Jeremy Johnson handing down the sentences at todayโ€™s disgusting stitched up Palestine Action trial. Any faith I ever had in the fairness of the British justice system is completely is dead.

The Filton 25 are a group of direct actionists who targeted Elbit Systems, Israel's largest weapons manufacturer, to stop the genocide in Gaza. They were all acquitted of the most serious charge of aggravated burglary and were released from prison. However, following the retrial of the first 6, four of them were remanded back into prison and are now facing sentencing on 12th of June with a possible terrorism connection. This is the first time in UK history that pro-Palestine activists will be sentenced for terrorism. ๐Ÿ“… 12th June ๐Ÿ“ Woolwich Crown Court โฐ 10amโ€“5pm Join the mobilisation and show that direct action is not terrorism. Write to court and demand that Judge Jeremy Johnson be removed from the case. cage.ngo/campaigns/filton25

Omg get a life.
Hi @marksandspencer I just saw a man fill a large backpack with steaks at your St Albans store. I reported him and absolutely nothing was done to stop him by your staff. I assume that if you do nothing then your honest customers are having to pay a surcharge for the theft? Please advise.

I put on my hinge profile that I think the IDF need to be rounded up and buried in a landfill, and men with โ€œmoderateโ€ still kept liking me too. I donโ€™t think thereโ€™s any way to stop them.

Sharia weather had me cackling. @MrNishKumar is brilliant.
โจโ€œAll We Ever Talk About In This Country Is Immigrationโ€ Nish Kumar nailed it: this country talks about immigration nonstop because itโ€™s the governmentโ€™s favourite distraction from its own failures. If every immigrant disappeared tomorrow, nothing would improve, theyโ€™d just find a new group to scapegoat.โฉ
