It was such a pleasure to co-author this essay with my fabulous friend and colleague @alixbeeston - very proud of it, and delighted to have the chance to write about @LeeHavenJones' Gwledd in this context (because it's really great).
A highlight of my year was writing this feisty piece about THE ETERNAL DAUGHTER with my pal @RobLloyd91 for @SensesofCinema. Taking the film's Welsh setting seriously, we use it to mount a critique of the (non)place of Wales in extractivist UK film culture shorturl.at/hWSD7

Our PGR teachers bring so much experience, insight and consideration to the university, and we would be utterly lost without them.
@RobLloyd91 and I have written a spicy (and correct!) 2000-word take on the non-place of Wales in contemporary cinema, using Joanna Hogg's new film The Eternal Daughter as a starting point. We're having trouble finding the right home for it. Anyone have any leads/ideas?
