Short rumble on “correct” lifting and tissue load. Jefferson curl done by WC skier Nejc. For him, this is the best way to fight stiff back that he gets from a skiing overdose

The ABCs and 123s of Performance Chapter Two of How To Train There are nine foundational concepts in the figure below: 1⃣No Muscles, No Power 2⃣Stamina & Performance at First Breakpoint 3⃣Fueling The Burn 4⃣Fitness is expressed as a rightward shift of the lactate curve 5⃣There is an optimal sequence to training periodization. We start with a focus on health, shift towards metabolic fitness, add general capacity then finish with specific preparation. 6⃣Fast and hard are not the same thing 7⃣Continue base training as long as it continues to shift the curve 8⃣The bike is the safest place to ramp endurance volume 9⃣Fitness is a time series of performance The five years before, and the 100 days after, I read Nils’ book relate directly to the first two points. We’re going to start with the top two points then return to our story. Chapter Two continues on Endurance Essentials and you can access via my profile links

The Holocaust never happened! #Israel

Now I really believe there wasn't any holocaust during 2.ww. Jews made it all with their octopus limbs. Why? If there was, they wouldn't do this kind of atrocities to innocent and unarmed people. No matter what they are fighting against

History is repeating. In 2.W.W. Axis Powers represented by Germany, Italy, Japan Some 80 years forward (read: now) Same shit happening again with new countries representing axis Powers: USA, Russia, Izrael Same kind of shit, different countries

We Stand with Iran Israeli actions will bring Adolf back.

Wondering what would World be like if AH succeeded with his vision back in the days? Strange thinking, I know but honest #FreePalaestine #Israel_Enemy_of_Humanity

What Christmas s this? Number of People suffer because of some individual lunatics and their crazy Feudal ideas. Why was mr. H stopped? For this 🤔 Is there anybody who will flatten that artifical mid Asian country Free Palestina and all oppressed nations.

What is the height of hypocrisy? ➡️ In the World democracy exporter, had to enlist the National Guard to maintain order on the “holiday of democracy” - election day.

Hey @amazon letting you know, that you are not user friendly when your customer is in troubles with the account. No email, nobody answers the phone, AI assistant useless... Tell me this isn't true

Drop Jumping: Optimal or Overload? Is optimising drop height in DJs always the best approach? True plyometric training is high intensity overload training. When appropriate, it is supposed to overload the athlete to a level they can't "optimally" handle to drive real changes to the architecture and neural pathways. Such plyometrics are not "optimal". Sotiropolous (2022) investigated this national league volleyball players (n=55). ・ 3 wk prep phase ・ 8 wk intervention protocol ・ SJ/CMJ/CMJarms assessed @ 4 & 8 wks ・ DJ-RSI protocol pre- post- intervention (20-70cm) DJ training protocol = 13 sessions / 8 wks 4-5 sets x 10 reps @ 30s btw reps & 3 mins btw sets Along with a CON group (VB training only) & a STR group (Strength training intervention) there were 3 x DJ intervention groups (all done in conjunction with strength training): 🔸 DJ-LOW = DJs @ ➖ 25% of Optimal DJ height 🔸 DJ-OPT = DJs @ Optimal DJ height 🔸 DJ-HIGH = DJs @ ➕ 25% of Optimal DJ height DJ-OPT and DJ-HIGH ( 25%) had the greatest increases in range of jump testing (SJ/CMJ/DJ) compared to DJ-LOW or STR training only. Fast SSC performance (DJ) improved ONLY for the DJ-OPT and DJ-HIGH groups Training @ DJ height ➕ 25% lead to greater overall DJ jump heights and improved RSI Training @ DJ height ➕ 25% was the only intervention that led to the most consistent increases in RSI across DJ heights compared to CON group Interestingly: Improvements in SJ, CMJ and CMJarms were similar between DJ-Low and STR groups. Lower intensity plyometrics may not have any added value (in terms of pure "output" effect) compared to strength training alone. Authors: "Only the application of higher forces (via DJs) may have an additive effect to weight training" "Drop Height should be AT LEAST equal to the optimum to cause additional benefits vs STR training alone"

Do core stability exercises improve your cycling performance? 🚀 @SitkoSebastian et al recently published a trial comparing 3 training strategies: 1. Cycling only 2. Cycling core training 3. Cycling strength training The results were quite interesting…
