When I first started building @chartdetector , I wasn't trying to create another charting platform. There are already countless tools that can help people analyze individual assets. What I kept noticing, however, was that many investors weren't struggling because they couldn't read a chart. They were struggling because they didn't fully understand the risks and relationships within their own portfolios. Over the years, I've seen portfolios that looked diversified on the surface but were actually heavily exposed to the same themes, sectors, or market drivers. Hidden correlation, concentration risk, and being positioned against where capital is moving can have a much bigger impact on performance than most people realize. You can own twenty different assets and still be making essentially the same bet. That realization led to the development of Portfolio Intelligence. Instead of focusing solely on individual charts, this new feature looks at the portfolio as a whole. It helps investors understand exposure across stocks, crypto, FX, and commodities, identify hidden risks, monitor capital rotation, and make more informed allocation decisions. The goal isn't to build a trading bot or another signal service. The goal is to provide decision intelligence that helps investors better understand what they own, where their risks are, and how their portfolio aligns with changing market conditions. This is one of the most ambitious features I've worked on for ChartDetector because it moves the platform beyond chart analysis and toward portfolio-level intelligence.
