There were six months between Brexit vote & Trump’s election in 2016. I watched to see if US economic nationalist would change UK public opinion. It didn’t. Why ? Because Brexit & Trumpismo are similar: manipulation of aggrieved voters by rich men for their own benefit

Just sayin’ to all 🇺🇸 political experts, including those now congratulating themselves for being on the right side of a binary choice: It was NOT down to a few tens of thousands of votes in the swing states. It was NOT “ a coin toss” , as the Americans say. We collectively got it wrong.
