During the luncheon, the participants exchanged views on strengthening Korea–India defense and security cooperation as well as expanding bilateral exchanges and cooperation.

On May 21, Ambassador Lee delivered a lecture at the National Defence College (NDC) of India to senior Indian military officers participating in the National Security and Strategy course, as well as government officials and military officers from more than 30 countries.

A productive visit concludes as President Lee Jae Myung @Jaemyung_Lee of Republic of Korea departs from India. He was seen off by Minister of State for Road, Transport & Highways and Corporate Affairs @hdmalhotra. The visit delivered tangible outcomes in key areas and placed the 🇮🇳-🇰🇷 partnership on a stronger footing, with a forward-looking agenda.

President Droupadi Murmu received President Lee Jae Myung of the Republic of Korea at Rashtrapati Bhavan and hosted a banquet in his honour. She was happy to note that both sides have set an ambitious agenda for bilateral cooperation across several sectors, including trade, infrastructure, digital cooperation, small and medium enterprises, education, research, culture, and people-to-people ties.

The India-Korea Business Leaders’ Dialogue highlighted the immense potential of our economic partnership across diverse sectors. Our cooperation can drive growth and prosperity in both nations. We had detailed discussions on expanding our cooperation in AI, semiconductors, steel and ports. We also spoke about adding momentum to cultural and people-to-people linkages.
