There will be a vaccine. 25% spontaneously clear, and 80% clear reinfection, so it should be feasible. A vaccine is needed. Most surveyed countries had more infections than cures in 2016. Lack of progress eradicating vaccine-less infections like tb and syphilis also instructive.
