Knowing when to back off and take a complete day off, or even more, is one of the secrets of success. The training log we all keep would be more of a hindrance than a help if it pushed us to run extra miles. When in doubt, listen to your body.
Training Tip Tuesday: TAKE IT EASY ON THE EASY RUNS! I used to roll my eyes at this. It’s fun to pound the pavement, stomping on emotion and passing people on the trail, but it’s not fun to get hurt...it’s not fun to jeopardize your training.
