#XMen97 Season 2 is exactly what fans have been waiting for. I can't imagine anyone will be disappointed with it. The animation is gorgeous, with complex and multi-faceted characters, and the story is wonderfully constructed. Also the best time to jump aboard the X-Men train!

#ToyStory5 is a wonderful, touching, and incredibly relevant story that needed to be told. Emotional to its core, the movie is filled with clever and hilarious jokes, and the complex, yet nuanced story puts the spotlight firmly on Jessie, which was absolutely the right choice.

One of the only downsides for me is that the series is getting awfully overzealous with what these toys can do and get away with. The inherent story and point of Toy Story 5 does back up many of their choices in that regard, which keeps it from completely jumping the shark.

jackass is one of those first movies you watched to rebel against your parents. I’d have never guessed that over two decades later, I’d meet the legend himself in honor of their final outing, jackass: best and last.

MANDALORIAN AND GROGU is a resounding fine. It’s literally just episodes of the show stitched together—for better or worse. It’s a standalone adventure that ultimately feels unimportant to any grander plans. Enjoyed Rotta the Hutt more than I thought I would. Zeb was wonderful.

This is actually insane. It’s like Disney and Lucasfilm actively want the movie to not do well at this point. Why is there such little confidence in this project? Seeing it tonight, and I still have my fingers crossed for something good—After all, Zeb deserves it.
Disney has decided not to screen THE MANDALORIAN & GROGU for critics in some major cities across the country. It’s disappointing to see such a lack of confidence in a Star Wars film. I’m still hoping for the best.

THE PUNISHER: ONE LAST KILL is the quintessential special presentation for fans of the character. Jon Bernthal is phenomenal as always & the key action sequence is incredibly fun and well done. The stage is now perfectly set for his appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

WISHFUL THINKING is an incredible film and the best movie from SXSW 2026. Maya Hawke and Lewis Pullman give stellar performances. The story’s multi-layered depth is impressive and shockingly impactful. It’s a unique gem you need to see. Get ready to cry.

THEY WILL KILL YOU is visually immaculate. Zazie Beetz kicks ass, and it’s hard to imagine people not having fun while watching her mow down people. All that said, something is missing from the movie, and the emotional aspects don’t land. #SXSW

DRAG is an incredibly intense and wildly inventive home invasion film that flips the formula on its head by injecting a wonderful dose of dark comedy—and truly living up to its title in the best way. Lizzy Caplan gives a fantastic performance. Go into this blind. #SXSW

READY OR NOT 2 is bloody, brutal, and brilliant. It’s a worthy sequel that will probably be just as revered as the first. Samara Weaving and Kathryn Newton are the perfect sisters, and they both absolutely crush it. Shawn Hatosy owns every scene he’s in. #SXSW #ReadyOrNot2

UGLY CRY is truly a standout of SXSW. It’s an extremely genuine, incredibly relatable tale that tackles the insane expectations of Hollywood and society—with a little satire & humor sprinkled in. For me, it’s a better version of The Substance. Though, don’t expect a horror film.

ANIMA is a timeless exploration of a sci-fi concept that is all too close to becoming a reality. It’s complicated, messy, & very human. It may feel a bit too indie for its own good, but its exploration of the morality of a digital afterlife is worth experiencing. #SXSW

SCREAM 7 is fine, but doesn’t do much more than that. It certainly would have been far better with more Melissa Barrera—that’s the story that should have been told instead of what we ultimately got.

Project Hail Mary is an absolutely fantastic film that will no doubt live up to everyone’s expectations. Ryan Gosling gives an incredible performance overflowing with emotion and humor. The movie keeps you glued to the screen the entire time, though it’s admittedly a tad long.

HOPPERS is the most insane Pixar film I’ve ever seen—it dials everything up to 11 and never looks back. It’s full of heart and consistently throws jokes and unexpected turns at you that land perfectly. There are plenty of memorable moments to experience with a large crowd.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is significantly better than the first film. Sure, it still has flaws, but It’s a fun time from start to finish. The animatronics look incredible and the movie embraces the games more than ever. The Marionette is legitimately terrifying. #FNAF #FNAF2

Avatar: Fire and Ash is a technical marvel, as we’ve come to expect. There’s truly no VFX showcase like it. I also really loved the new villain (Varang) they introduced. Sadly, the repetitive story didn’t do much for me, and the movie is way too long. #Avatar
