Much truth.
Every cafe and restaurant, every tearoom and pub garden, parents sit their little ones down and plonk a screen of some sort in front of their kid. And then ignore them. Then the kid plays up. The kid wants attention, talking to, engaging with, playing with. Not a substitute parent that is, in fact, a phone or iPad. Parents. Take responsibility. Take the screens away.

Some of them, are so old, they can barely lift a coffee cup.
This England team easily lifts the World Cup..

WILL โ€˜the Tories take responsibility for cutting Defence spending?โ€™

Iโ€™d blame people like the former Minister for Immigration or Secretary of State for Housing. Oh wait, thatโ€™s you.
Britain is broken. Does anyone really think Andy Burnham is going to fix it? Vote @RobKenyonReform on Thursday!

Just a reminder that Helen and the Conservative Party is currently being investigated by the UK statistics watchdog for making misleading claims about welfare and social security spending. ๐Ÿ™‚ disabilitynewsservice.com/ukโ€ฆ
Iโ€™ve launched a review of the sickness benefits system. Itโ€™s broken. Last year we set out ยฃ23bn welfare savings including stopping benefits to foreigners & for milder mental health. This review will look at the whole system and set out our plan to fix it.

You can be personally disappointed, that's fine, but you know he and his family will disrupt the harmony in the camp if he isn't playing. You don't need that nonsense. Even now, he's just fanning the flames of division. What a menace. He's Team Maguire, not Team England.
"We had a few words." Harry Maguire tells @RestIsFootball how Thomas Tuchel broke the news of him being left out of the England squad.

Fair point generally, though the ref got it wrong with the penalty incident, re France v Senegal.
The refereeing at the World Cup has been so refreshingly competent. Just highlights what a shambles the PGMOL is. Premier League refs have used technology to do their jobs worse. Kind of impressive honestly.

When people show you who they are, believe them. A family was inside the property when it was set alight. Are you going to apologise @Matt_VickersMP?
Nowt to see here, just the Tory deputy chairman & vile Kyle joking about arson, with a bit of homophobic banter thrown in. We pay this cretinous oafs wages.

Last night I watched a doc where kids in the favelas with nothing to their name were playing football on the streets and having a great time, but youโ€™re telling me that ours have literally no option but to watch YouTube cos services have been cut. Get real.

It should never be forgotten, that it was Thatcher, (she who sold the country off to the highest bidder), who broke the link between pensions & earnings. @KemiBadenoch The Tories who put VAT on heating bills. The Tories who opposed WFA, free tv licences, and prescriptions.
It's time to stop being polite about the triple lock. A 'smoothed' earnings link could have left the real value of the Basic State Pension ยฃ12.30 per week higher in 2026-27 than in 2011-12.

1) There was a pandemic 2) Most of the people on sickness benefits are transfers from benefits that no longer exist. 3) Tories fucked the NHS - the very body that can make people well enough to work. 4) DWPs own research shows that 41% are waiting for NHS treatment. ๐Ÿ™„
Britain's sickness benefits system is broken. Itโ€™s time to start again. Claims have doubled since the pandemic, costing taxpayers ยฃ55bn. I just launched @Conservatives' review at @restate_thinks, as part of our plan to get Britain working again.

There is no such thing as white privilege. The fact that I walked straight from my ยฃ60k a year private education into a City job where my stockbroker father and his rich white mates worked was down to sheer hard graft.
