The fuel crisis is spreading across Russia. A resident of Novorossiysk asks for life hacks on how to live without gasoline. "We've learned to live without water, electricity, and the internet. Without everything. But how the hell are we supposed to live without fuel? What app do I need? How do I beat the system?"
The fuel crisis in Russia is expanding - restrictions are now in place in at least 14 regions. After reports of fuel shortages in occupied Crimea, similar problems have started appearing across Russian regions. In the Kursk, Belgorod, and Pskov regions, some gas stations are limiting sales to no more than 20 liters of gasoline per customer. Similar restrictions have also been reported at certain stations in Moscow, the Moscow region, and St. Petersburg. In Krasnoyarsk and the Tomsk region, drivers are being refused fuel sales in jerry cans. In Karelia, authorities blame the restrictions on the holiday season, while residents in the Murmansk region are also reporting difficulties refueling their vehicles. Drivers in the Voronezh region complain about gasoline shortages at some gas stations, while in the Novgorod region there are reports of a 20-liter limit per vehicle.

I thank all friends of Ukraine and everyone who helps us obtain important information and supports Ukrainian intelligence operations. Our intelligence agencies reported on the results of their work to assess the internal situation in Russia and obtain documents that end up on the Russian leader’s desk. We understand that Putin rarely receives information that is entirely truthful and unvarnished. But even what he sees in the documents that reach him still allows conclusions to be drawn. In particular, the so-called “projected indicators” of Russians’ dissatisfaction with Putin will continue to rise steadily, and he is already being conditioned to accept the idea that this growing dissatisfaction cannot be stopped and that this indicator “will not plateau” by September, when parliamentary elections are scheduled in Russia. As for the level of support for Russia’s ruling party, a steady downward trend is being recorded, which means significantly greater electoral fraud will be needed. They are also reporting a substantial rise in protest sentiment in Russian regions. We believe these reports also do not yet take into account the potential events of June, July, and August, which are bound to further affect the situation in Russia. The entirely justified pressure on Russia over this war will continue and intensify – and it won’t be just our pressure. So by September, Putin will be facing significantly worse indicators. Unfortunately, to all the public and non-public peace proposals we have made, the only response has been words about continuing his war. The internal situation in Russia should convince him of the opposite: that peace is needed. Ukraine is proposing to negotiate a dignified peace. Obviously, the trends will not change, and over time this may mean that an agreement will have to be reached with someone else from Russia – someone who will not shut themselves off from reality. Glory to Ukraine!

You’re losing 35,000 troops a month. It’s time you admitted you got beat and go home. I served 30 years in AF and I’m glad Putin is getting his ass handed to him.

🇺🇸🤯🇷🇺 "Trump has been kissing Putin's ass for years." A sitting US Senator. On the Intel Committee. Said it on camera. US Senator and combat veteran @CaptMarkKelly, in an exclusive interview, says Putin didn't just benefit from Trump's deference — he exploited it. And Ukraine is paying the price. "Putin has played Donald Trump in a way that has clearly benefited Putin and put the Ukrainians at further risk." This is a member of the Armed Services and Intel Committee. Not a pundit. Not an op-ed. That's not incompetence. That's a pattern. Full interview in first comment ↓ | Extended cut for X subscribers @SenMarkKelly

We are the West. Ukraine is our friend. russia is our enemy.
I was banned from traveling to Iran. I was sanctioned by Russia. I was hacked by China and now hacked by Russia. Putin will do anything to silence those who oppose him, but I know the difference between good and evil. You can tell a lot about a person by their enemies.

Russia has officially become the least peaceful country in the world, ranking 163rd out of 163 countries in the 2025 Global Peace Index. The same people who claim Europe is unsafe live in the most dangerous country on Earth. US is at spot 134, by the way.

Europe firmly rejects the outdated concept of spheres of influence. However, if Vladimir Putin insists on dragging the world back to that nineteenth-century mindset, he needs to understand a harsh reality: Russia will end up in Europe's and China’s spheres, not the other way around. Europe thrives on cooperative networks, economic integration, and democratic sovereignty rather than imperial domination. Yet the Kremlin remains obsessed with carving up maps and forcing neighboring states into submission. If the world truly devolves into a raw competition between exclusive geopolitical blocs, Russia simply lacks the weight to compete with Europe and China. Strip away Russia's nuclear arsenal and its state-sponsored apparatus for aggression, and the country is lagging behind by almost every imaginable metric. From economic output and technological innovation to healthcare, education, and overall quality of life, Europe is lightyears ahead of Moscow. Putin should be incredibly careful what he wishes for. A return to a world of pure spheres of influence will only expose Russia's structural weakness, inevitably swallowing it into a vastly superior European and Chinese orbits
