I’m 100% more bullish on $TAO than I was going into Proof of Talk. My biggest takeaway: The ecosystem is no longer focused on proving it can build great products. That stage is largely behind us. The focus has shifted to product market fit and landing paying customers. It the next step and exactly where we need to be.
Ready to get $TAO pilled even more

There has never been a clearer moment that Bittensor is competing directly with centralized AI. Every time a $TAO subnet beats a frontier model on a specific task, the thesis gets stronger. That's why I've never understood the urge to tear down other subnets. We're not competing with each other. We're competing with OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and every other centralized AI giant. The more subnets succeed, the stronger the entire ecosystem becomes. Let's act like it.

Access to intelligence should not depend on a handful of companies or governments. This is why open, decentralized, permissionless AI matters. This is why Bittensor matters.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

How bad it is that people are hating on Elon becoming a Trillionaire. For one moment, just think about the amount of value he added. Unbelievable.

If you want to understand the recent pivot TPN just made. This is a very good post! TLDR: Model optimisation on demand 🔥 $TAO
I am really excited about @0xDutchmikel's new vision People and businesses all over need models in different shapes and sizes. People come to TPN if they need a model of a certain quality and size. Today that process is guesswork, you compress a model and only find out afterwards how much intelligence you gave up, and benchmarking it properly takes time, expertise and hardware most teams do not have. TLDR, yay I made a model cheaper but I have no idea how much intelligence I lost. With TPN, users submit a bid in and say I need Kimi 2.5 but I need it compressed down and working on this kind of hardware. Miners compete via software optimizations (quantization, pruning, distillation, model merging, often stacked together) to provide this new end model The interesting part is the competition, miners are competing through never ending optimizations to make models not only smaller, but also more performant. Smaller on its own while losing fidelity is the wrong tradeoff. You set hard constraints on how much intelligence you are willing to sacrifice and the network races to find the best model inside those limits, every epoch, with validators verifying results and the network compounding knowledge with every request There has been a big focus on the next generation of models and fine tuned models but this is a whole new optimization path on compression/quality to run these models on the edge The end game is frontier intelligence that runs everywhere, your laptop, your phone, cars, custom silicon, air gapped enterprises, with TPN as the optimization layer the agentic economy routes through. The industry spent a decade making models bigger, the next phase is making them usable anywhere, and that unlock is what makes private self sovereign AI actually real.

Partnerships like this are why Bittensor will win. The value doesn't simply add up. It multiplies. Every subnet that integrates with another expands the number of possible products, workflows and revenue opportunities across the network. Score x Vidaio is more than a partnership. It's another example of how subnet collaboration creates value that neither subnet could create alone. Accelerate.
Score x Vidaio. Following our @ProofOfTalk presentation, @vidaio_ (SN85) is partnering with us to be one of the first teams to launch their own vision AI challenges on SN44. The goal: bring advanced visual intelligence into VidaioOS, making video archives searchable, actionable and monetisable at an entirely new level. Two subnets, one network effect. More to come in the coming weeks.

$TAO subnets are the first crypto investments I've made that I can explain to my non-crypto friends in 30 seconds. I show them the product. They immediately understand the value.

Very proud to be working with Endure. We've seen firsthand what the team has been building behind the scenes over the past months. A lot more is coming. Watch this space. $TAO
Getting the risk intelligence layer right is only half the work. The other half is making sure the right people in the ecosystem understand what Endure is building and why it matters. That is why we are partnering with @WeAreSubConnect: strategy and communications built specifically for the $TAO ecosystem.

A lot of $TAO subnets have already completed phase one: Design a robust incentive mechanism and build a great product. They're now entering phase two: Find product-market fit and land paying customers. Phase three is where things get really interesting. That's when subnets start scaling, generating significant revenue, and feeding value back into their Alpha and the broader ecosystem. The path is becoming increasingly clear. Accelerate and decouple.

I think this new direction is at least 10x bigger than the original TPN $TAO subnet idea. It solves a problem that almost every AI company will eventually face: making models smaller, faster, and cheaper without sacrificing too much performance. What I like most is that this doesn't just create value for TPN. It has the potential to improve the performance of countless other subnets across the ecosystem. Besides, I think they have a very strong team. I like it.

You have two options here. Either you start learning how to trade or you stop to bother to much about short term price action. In stead focus on building positions with long term potential. I myself shifted to a couple high conviction coins, of which mainly $TAO and the subnets in the ecosystem. I'm still not sure if it works out, you never can be. But I know this is by far the highest potential I've ever seen in crypto. I'm not to bothered about what the price is doing at the moment, the game is just to accumulate Alpha an $TAO. Feels good.

Some more insights on why we think Endure makes total sense as a $TAO subnet, especially because of the product focus.
Risk sounds like something boring, but it's actually a massive market with significant inefficiencies and flaws in the way it's currently approached. The reason we're so bullish on risk intelligence as a $TAO subnet is the way the team has designed its strategy. The focus isn't on building technology for the sake of technology. The focus is on building, or helping build, valuable products. The first step is doing that within Bittensor itself, with Forge becoming the first product: a native lending protocol built on top of the subnet's risk intelligence. Once that foundation is proven with Forge, the opportunity for Endure will expand far beyond Bittensor into the broader DeFi landscape and eventually TradFi. It's a simple but powerful approach: Build valuable products, prove the model, expand to larger markets. One product at a time.

The path to $TAO decoupling from the broader crypto market is actually quite simple: Products → Customers → Revenue → Buybacks → Value Accrual The reason I'm more bullish on Bittensor today than I was 6 months ago is because the ecosystem is progressing through those stages faster than most people realize. Not that long ago, the main challenge for subnets was proving they could build product. Could they leverage Bittensor to solve a real problem? For many of the serious teams, that stage is now largely behind them. The conversation has shifted. It's no longer about whether they can build. It's about whether they can find product-market fit, land paying customers (phase 2), and eventually scale (phase 3). More and more subnets are now working directly with design partners and early customers. Instead of building products based on assumptions, they're building solutions around real business problems. That's how sustainable businesses are created. And that's where the real new money enters the ecosystem. Through customers paying for products that create value. Once that revenue starts flowing back into subnet economies, the flywheel starts spinning. That's why I believe the long-term winners in Bittensor won't be determined by hype. They'll be determined by value creation. The subnets that successfully capture real-world revenue and feed value back into the ecosystem will be the ones that outperform. And when enough subnets start doing that, I think that's when $TAO truly begins to decouple from the rest of crypto.

A few thoughts after attending PoT this week. We had the opportunity to connect with many of the people helping shape the future of the Bittensor ecosystem, including @const_reborn, @WeAreSubConnect, @MaxScore, @jamesrosst, @Gylez from TAO.com, and many other builders, validators, miners, and stakeholders. What stood out most wasn’t any single conversation. It was the community itself. We’ve rarely seen an ecosystem so eager to help, collaborate, share ideas, and support teams building for the long term. The quality of people around Bittensor $TAO gives us even more confidence that we’re still incredibly early. We also enjoyed hearing from @mogmachine, @markjeffrey, and @jaltucher. Their perspectives on AI, decentralized networks, and the opportunities ahead sparked some great discussions throughout the event. We’re leaving PoT with new relationships, new ideas, and stronger conviction than ever in Endure’s mission to become the risk intelligence layer for Bittensor. The future of AI is dec entralized. The future of risk intelligence will be too. SN30
