There are some long-time Liberals upset that Iβm running for leader, in part, because I am trying to pull my party back towards liberalism.
I believe that:
- The law should apply equally to everyone
- People should be judged on merit
- Markets should be competitive
- Opportunity must be real for all
- Government should be secular
- Speech should be free
- Excellence should be celebrated
These values are simple, but they are good, and our politics has wandered too far away from them.

Lombardi has a great reputation in Ontario, partially because he helped revolutionize the provincial housing discourse. Many conservatives genuinely like him and respect his wonkishness and pragmatism, so, yes, weβre boosting him. We earnestly see him as a better alternative to the Ford government, and itβs as simple as that. Not everything is a 4D chess strategy.

Somebody is not telling the truth.
Ford says, "The federal government is on board" with expanding the airport.
PM Carney says he "has not yet formed an opinion. "
I'm reluctant to believe Doug Ford, but if Carney hasn't formed an opinion, why Is he allowing Ford to forge ahead when airports are federal jurisdiction?

8 years of @BradMBradford & all I got was a rusted balcony guard at 500 Dawes.
I recall the discussions I had with Bradford about 500 Dawes. He had no interest in utilizing the City's remedial action powers & spoke highly of the 20k in fines the City imposed at that time.

While we were pushing for important property srandards by-law enforcement reform at MLS (and other Divisions), he was calling for MLS to shift its attention to monitoring lawful protests in the City. π€·πΎβΉοΈ
