*Neoliberalism, Eric. Let's be clear and accurate. (Classical liberal? They're really trying to make him viable...)
There are some long-time Liberals upset that I’m running for leader, in part, because I am trying to pull my party back towards liberalism. I believe that: - The law should apply equally to everyone - People should be judged on merit - Markets should be competitive - Opportunity must be real for all - Government should be secular - Speech should be free - Excellence should be celebrated These values are simple, but they are good, and our politics has wandered too far away from them.

Great reputation? Revolutionized? Where does this National Post columnist live? South Beach, Florida? #TOpoli #ONpoli
You’re overthinking things. Lombardi has a great reputation in Ontario, partially because he helped revolutionize the provincial housing discourse. Many conservatives genuinely like him and respect his wonkishness and pragmatism, so, yes, we’re boosting him. We earnestly see him as a better alternative to the Ford government, and it’s as simple as that. Not everything is a 4D chess strategy.

Almost like his father, but worse. Using others β€” in this case his daughter β€” to cushion his falls. Father's day is just one week out, if you're wondering.
My daughter celebrated her 13th birthday yesterday. Go ahead. Make your case that she’s not β€œgood”. I dare you.

View from my 8th-floor apartment at 500 Dawes Road. Repairs on the balcony guards are now underway. I really look forward to getting my view of the Toronto Skyline back :3 (see towards the end).

When I think about what makes a candidate strong, I think of a great speaker, someone with unique ideas and solutions, someone who you feel empathizes with your struggle and can rise to the challenges we face in Ontario and the world. Eric has none of these qualities

I’m entering the race for Ontario Liberal Leader because I believe Ontario can still win! But not if we keep ignoring our big problems. (1/3) πŸ‘‡

Finally a candidate that combines the Abundance centrist bullshit of Ezra Klein with the crime and immigration policies of Maxime Bernier.

If this is any indication of the best criticism Avi Lewis will face in the next election, he might ascend to more than leader of His Majesty's opposition in that contest. πŸ€” #CANpoli

I had a delightful (& productive) chat with newly-minted federal NDP Leader @avilewis in Ottawa this evening. I told him to continue being fearless, courageous, and honest. Great fellow. #TOpoli #ONpoli #CANpoli #ACORNConvention2026 @TorontoACORN @OntarioACORN @ACORNCanada

Carney is lying. There is an abundance of research/study material on the impacts of an expanded island airport. @NoJetsTO !!! πŸ“£ #TOpoli
Somebody is not telling the truth. Ford says, "The federal government is on board" with expanding the airport. PM Carney says he "has not yet formed an opinion. " I'm reluctant to believe Doug Ford, but if Carney hasn't formed an opinion, why Is he allowing Ford to forge ahead when airports are federal jurisdiction? #onpoli #cdnpoli

1/ 8 years of @BradMBradford & all I got was a rusted balcony guard at 500 Dawes. I recall the discussions I had with Bradford about 500 Dawes. He had no interest in utilizing the City's remedial action powers & spoke highly of the 20k in fines the City imposed at that time.

4/ The neighborhood had to work around @BradMBradford to get things done. While we were pushing for important property srandards by-law enforcement reform at MLS (and other Divisions), he was calling for MLS to shift its attention to monitoring lawful protests in the City. 🀷🏾☹️

5/ The hours I spent researching municipal and admin. law, reading various statutes, studying crown liability, & debating this issue with City staff and Cllrs can't be overstated either. Special thanks to @torontolibrary's reference branch team.
