Today I learned that: By age 60, 10% of US adults are cancer survivors. By age 80, ~30% men and ~20% women are cancer survivors.

Thinking of survivors today, while also honoring those who didn’t get the chance to become one. Dedicated to a future where every cancer patient has that opportunity like my incredible wife. 💛

Today is National Cancer Survivors Day 🎗️ Being a childhood cancer survivor has taught me resilience, gratitude, and finding joy in ordinary moments. I’ve learned that survivorship isn’t just about what you overcome, it’s also about how you live life after. I’m incredibly grateful for my team who cared for me, believed in me, and gave me hope. The first person w/ a physical disability to reach orbit was Hayley Arceneaux, a osteosarcoma survivor & PA. She flew to orbit on @inspiration4x in 2021 w/ a lower-limb prosthesis after cancer. Excited to see barriers continue to fall but no childhood cancer survivor erasure! 🚀
