UNESCO is deeply alarmed by the 24 March strikes that hit a building in the area of Bernardine Monastery within the World Heritage property of ‘L’viv – the Ensemble of the Historic Centre’.
@UNESCO recalls that cultural property is protected under the 1954 Hague Convention and the 1972 #WorldHeritage Convention. All parties must safeguard heritage and refrain from any acts harming cultural property.
#UNESCO stands ready to support the authorities with assessments, protection measures and emergency assistance.

Hungary takes seven Ukrainians hostage and steals 80 million US dollars!
And this on the very day that Orbán threatened Ukraine with war.
Putin's bootlicker has completely lost it.
Today in Budapest, Hungarian authorities took seven Ukrainian citizens hostage. The reasons are still unknown, as well as their current well-being, or the possibility of contacting them.
These seven Ukrainians are employees of state-owned Oschadbank, who were operating two bank cars transiting between Austria and Ukraine and carrying cash as part of regular services between state banks.
In fact, we are talking about Hungary taking hostages and stealing money. If this is the “force” announced earlier today by Mr Orban, then this is a force of a criminal gang. This is state terrorism and racketeering.
We have already sent an official note demanding an immediate release of our citizens.
We will also address the European Union with the request to provide a clear qualification of Hungary’s unlawful actions, hostage-taking, and robbery.

The project is even linked to the daughter of a senior executive at Rostec, a sanctioned Russian state-owned defence company, and to the daughter of Foreign Minister Lavrov. Culture must build bridges, but it must never become a stage for regimes waging war against European values. We appreciate that international media such as FOX News highlight the effective work of interceptor drones. The footage shown in this segment features STING — a Ukrainian interceptor drone developed by engineers at Wild Hornets and used by Ukrainian air defense units to destroy Shahed-type drones.
This result is the outcome of a long and difficult path taken by Wild Hornets engineers together with Ukrainian soldiers, and we would be grateful if these achievements remained properly credited.

Russian athletes will be walking under their genocidal rag (aka, ruzzian flag) on Friday at the upcoming Winter Paralympics. It will mark the first time a russian flag has been flown at a Paralympic Games since the Sochi 2014 Games.
I am at a loss for words. It was already appalling that russian athletes were allowed to participate in the 2026 Winter Olympics. And now they can do so while proudly waving their genocidal rag.
While Ukrainian athletes are being killed by russians, russian athletes are being rewarded with participation in the Olympics.
Don’t even try to tell me that these are “different russians” and that they are not accountable for the actions of their government. No — they are accountable for their silence, complacency, and inaction. Moreover, many of them actively support their government and the genocide against the Ukrainian people.
1. Sport and government are inseparable in russia. Sport is financed by the state. Olympic medalists are paid by russian authorities.
2. Russian athletes are members of the russian military. Despite competing under a so-called “neutral” flag at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, russian military athletes won 14 out of 32 medals. These are the same military servicemen who are killing Ukrainians at this very moment.
3. Most russian athletes support the war and the russian regime. They can be seen standing side by side with Putin at major events, delivering patriotic speeches, and proudly wearing the “Z” symbol.
4. russia uses sport as a propaganda tool. Even if a russian athlete wins an Olympic medal under a white flag, the russian state will use it for propaganda and imperial purposes.
5. Ukrainian athletes must be protected. Hundreds have been killed by russians. Hundreds more have lost their limbs and will never compete again. Those who survived and can still compete face enormous disadvantages, as hundreds of sports facilities across Ukraine have been destroyed by the russian military.
I just hope that the world will boycott these Olympics.

For every child abducted.
For every prisoner of war tortured, injured, or killed in captivity.
For every woman, man, and child raped.
For every person buried beneath the rubble of their home.
For every torture chamber under occupation.
For every filtration camp.
For the indoctrination of Ukrainian children.
For looted Ukrainian culture.
For destroying Ukrainian farmland and stealing Ukrainian grain.
For confiscating property under occupation.
For countless other crimes that continue as we speak.
There will be no real peace without justice.

Any transfer of Ukrainian 🇺🇦 territories to Russia 🇷🇺(including Crimea) would mean only one thing: that a dictatorship can seize territory from a democracy and the world will accept it as normal.
That would open the door to a new wave of wars, where anyone who wants to will start revising borders and attacking others.
The restoration of Ukraine’s borders (1991) is a matter of global security.
