There are only 2 races on the ballot in Borough Park. Don't sit back and let others decide for you. Come out to vote for Congressman Dan Goldman & Comptroller Tom DiNapoli. Our friends & allies through thick and thin. Assemblyman @SEichenstein voted early. Now, it's your turn!

“This state intervention is not only necessary, it has become critically urgent following the veto by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani of the City Council’s school safety perimeter transparency and reporting bill,” said Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein. “If New York City fails to take the necessary steps to protect vulnerable New Yorkers, the State of New York must act. This is precisely what we are doing with the passage of today’s 50-foot buffer zone bill.” nypost.com/2026/05/26/us-new…

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Thank gd we have excellent elected officials in the state who care about Jewish safety.
Strong language from pro-buffer zone NYS legislators, slamming @NYCMayor for vetoing council’s school zone bill: “If the City of New York cannot find it within themselves to take the necessary steps to protect our children, the State of New York must and will step in to act.”

Today, I spoke on the Assembly floor to explain my vote in favor of legislation that requires a 50-foot buffer zone in front of houses of worship, educational institutions and community centers during protests. “No New Yorker should ever be forced to choose between their personal safety and attending religious services.”

On Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave and dedicated Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we can exercise our freedom. We will never forget them.

Still wondering why hatred against Jews is so high in NYC? We have a mayor who is using government resources to disseminate a narrative and incite hostile propaganda. Mr. International Law guy forgot to include the fact that the Arab world rejected the UN's partition plan to establish a Palestinian state. Instead, they initiated a war to destroy the Jewish state in 1948. Oh BTW, what about the 850,000 Jews that were forced to flee Arab countries during that period? Did that simply not make its way into the final video?
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed. Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.

Starting this Friday, residents in @BrooklynCB12 with Saturday garbage pickup, can put out their trash bins on Friday starting at 3 pm. This has been made possible through the hard work of @SEichenstein and @SenatorSutton . Special recognition to @bspitzer who also worked on this.

For too long, New Yorkers faced a real struggle to pay for substantial utility rate increases. Incredibly proud that the State Assembly passed my bill today requiring @NYSDPS oversight on major utility rate increases. Grateful to Senator @LeroyComrie for sponsoring our bill in the Senate!

If the solution is to provide a private operator with a government subsidy, why not simply subsidize the bread and eggs at Key Food supermarkets? That would be significantly cheaper and simpler and it doesn’t involve constructing new buildings.
.@NYCMayor is giving more details about his plan to open a city-owned grocery store in Harlem’s La Marqueta. It will be run by a private company employing union staff and he says there will be a requirement that certain staples like bread and eggs be cheaper than at other stores

After Seder we took a stroll down Avenue J to catch up on some pre-pesach shopping. Not pictured: the rugelach we devoured. @GovKathyHochul @SEichenstein @SenatorSutton
What a joy to join @GovKathyHochul at @yoflatbush for their model Seder. Sharing our traditions and the story of our freedom - and highlighting the values and history that continue to shape our community - was a beautiful and meaningful experience.

While the media framed the Michigan synagogue terrorist as a man simply 'driven by grief' after losing his brother in a Lebanon airstrike, we now learn that his brother was actually a Hezbollah terrorist commander. Will the facts be updated by mainstream media? Or will it be ignored because it doesn’t fit the narrative?

Mr. International Law Guy was silent as Iran slaughtered 10K of her own people. The regime isn't just a threat to its citizens—it has attacked U.S. forces through proxies in Iraq and Syria, targeted our embassies, armed and directed terror networks like Hezbollah, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. The thousands of Americans whose family members were killed or taken hostage by Khamenei’s terrorist reign are welcoming the hoped end to the oppression. God Bless America 🇺🇸
Today’s military strikes on Iran — carried out by the United States and Israel — mark a catastrophic escalation in an illegal war of aggression. Bombing cities. Killing civilians. Opening a new theater of war.  Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace. I am focused on making sure that every New Yorker is safe. I have been in contact with our Police Commissioner and emergency management officials. We are taking proactive steps, including increasing coordination across agencies and enhancing patrols of sensitive locations out of an abundance of caution. Additionally, I want to speak directly to Iranian New Yorkers: you are part of the fabric of this city — you are our neighbors, small business owners, students, artists, workers, and community leaders. You will be safe here.

Agreed. Matching funds is a waste of millions of taxpayer dollars. If we are serious about addressing the affordability crisis - this is an excellent place to start!
New: @KathyHochul won't take taxpayer-funded campaign matching funds in reelection campaign. Campaign spox @SarafinaChitika says $$ “could be better used to fund programs that put more money in New Yorkers’ pockets…” —> ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/new…

It’s quite meaningful to earn these endorsements from Jewish leaders at a moment when the Jewish community is under attack. I will always stand up against antisemitism and against all forms of hatred across New York.
