SMFD was proud to host the start of the Fire Velo Cancer Awareness Bicycle Ride at Station 1 in Sausalito. 2006, firefighters have ridden 500 miles from the Bay Area to Los Angeles to honor firefighters lost to cancer, raise awareness, and support cancer prevention efforts.
