🌊Beach Hazards Statement is in effect Sunday through Wednesday. Long-period S-SW swell will generate hazardous conditions including sneaker waves and strong rip currents. Stay back from the water’s edge, stay off of jetties and piers, and NEVER turn your back on the Ocean!

Minor flooding is possible in low-lying Southern Marin shoreline areas, including portions of Sausalito and bayside Mill Valley, during high tides. Up to 1.8 ft of inundation is possible.

SMFD was proud to host the start of the Fire Velo Cancer Awareness Bicycle Ride at Station 1 in Sausalito. 2006, firefighters have ridden 500 miles from the Bay Area to Los Angeles to honor firefighters lost to cancer, raise awareness, and support cancer prevention efforts.
