Two wheels, many kilometers, and a shared commitment to sustainability! For the 9th year, SOTIO and SCTbio colleagues joined the ‘Bike To Work’ initiative. This year, 26 participants covered a total of 8,400 km, helping to reduce roughly 1,374 kg of CO2 emissions and supporting a more sustainable communing culture. Congratulations to this year’s top performers: Irena Kabátova (613.37 km) and Christian Frantz (933 km). Team Slowrider, consisting of Petra Svobodová, Adam Těhník, Martin Pávek, Aleš Slavíček and Jakub Lipovský, took first place with 2,335.82 km. Team Kološlapky followed with 2,084 km, and Team Kolohnáti with 1,601.5 km. Thanks to everyone who participated! #Sustainability #BikeToWork

New findings from the SOTIO research team, published in @tandfonline , highlight the potential of SOT201, a novel cis-acting PD-1/IL-15 mutein-based #immunocytokine, currently in development for the treatment of solid tumors. The study further demonstrates how targeted delivery of IL-15 signaling to PD-1 T cells have the potential to help reinvigorate anti-tumor immune responses within the tumor microenvironment, supporting a differentiated approach to cytokine-based cancer immunotherapy. SOTIO will present research at the upcoming @EACRnews 2026 congress, exploring predictors of response to neoadjuvant anti-PD-1–based chemo-immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancer (#NSCLC) using integrated spatial and immune profiling approaches. These findings highlight associations between pre-existing immune-active CD8 T-cell populations, tertiary lymphoid structures, and treatment response, suggesting that baseline tumor immune characteristics may influence sensitivity to therapy. #EACR2026 #CancerResearch #DrugDevelopment

The @US_FDA has granted Orphan Drug Designation (ODD) to SOT106 for the treatment of osteosarcoma. SOT106 is a potential best-in-class antibody-drug conjugate (#ADC) for sarcoma, targeting LRRC15, a clinically validated target frequently expressed across multiple #sarcoma subtypes. This designation recognizes the significant unmet need for targeted therapies against this rare and aggressive #cancer. Colorectal cancer (#CRC) is a significant global heath challenge, with many patients facing limited treatment options. According to @CancerResearch , colon cancer is now a leading cause of cancer-related death in young people.
