And how much will it cost in time and dollars to get this”free” plane up to DoD / Secret service standards, sweep it for super high tech spyware and clear it mechanically for defense in a nuclear armed conflict?

Accepting a temporary aircraft from Qatar to replace 40-year-old Air Force One models isn’t a scandal—it’s a strategic win. The current fleet costs taxpayers billions in maintenance while failing to meet modern security standards. This arrangement secures a newer platform at zero cost to Americans, bypassing Boeing’s delays and inflated contracts. Critics howling about “ethics” stayed silent when the previous administration funneled $6 trillion into reckless spending sprees with zero accountability. The real issue? Outdated defense procurement systems that prioritize contractor profits over national readiness. This deal exposes that rot while delivering immediate upgrades—classic Trump efficiency.

Remember, MAGA friends - what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. If you remove due process I guarandamntee you’ll be bitten by a false accusation some day. And it’ll likely come from one of your own. You’ve got to have proof that someone is guilty before arresting them.
We need Courageous JUSTICE in our Country. If the Courts don’t allow what we have been allowed to do for 250 years, America can no longer be the same. Crooked Joe Biden will have destroyed our Country with his Open Border MADNESS, and allowing criminals of every type to enter with no Retribution. Murderers, Drug Dealers, Gang Members, and even the Mentally Insane will make their home in our Country, wreaking havoc like we have never seen before. It is not possible to have trials for millions and millions of people. We know who the Criminals are, and we must get them out of the U.S.A. ¬— and FAST! In addition if you pull out now you’ll miss out when it rebounds in 97 days. How do I know it will? I’m psychic. Just like you are when you lament the future of your money. STOP PANICKING. Markets go up and down; you’re in it for the long haul.
More and more people are considering pulling out of their 401k due to the market drop. Just a reminder: Withdrawing from your 401k early comes with a mandatory 20% tax withholding, and a 10% penalty. Not the best idea.

Elon bought Twitter for $44B, and sold it to his own company for $33B. He can write-off that $11B loss on his taxes. Teachers can only write-off up to $300 worth of their school supplies on their taxes. This is what a tax code written to benefit oligarchs looks like.
Community note
Under 26 U.S. Code § 267, losses from sales between related parties, like an individual and a company they control, are generally disallowed. If Musk owns both X and xAI, he likely couldn’t claim an $11B tax write-off for selling Twitter to xAI. law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/26… reuters.com/technology/elo… irs.gov/publications/p…

Sure it made the visit seamless and fast, but now imagine someone hacks the databases with that info - they can hack into any network served by that ISP. What kind of controls exist to prevent that kind of breach? Is there some third party auditing of ISPs? #security

Interesting lesson in home WiFi security: My ISP is able to connect to my home network at will, even if I change the passwords. They provided the initial WiFi pods months ago and they were able to add one from their truck today before even coming inside. That takes a lot of trust

Agreed. I’ve had far fewer “cube land” illnesses in the last 10 years. Coworkers were the biggest problem before. I used to get colds monthly, now one about every 3 years.
Remote work = healthier, less stressed! 🌱 Since going remote in 2013, I’ve seen major health benefits—no more “cube land” illnesses, less stress, and freedom to live healthier. Why don't more companies embrace it? Let's rethink employee well-being! dotnettips.wordpress.com/202…

If this is your first Cat 5 hurricane, just leave Florida. It will cause chaos state wide. If you can even get gas now, do it. Start driving at least 24 hours before Milton hits. Traffic will be insane, and you don’t want to be stuck on the road.
If you're in the path of Hurricane Milton, check your evacuation zone, and take action today. Put your address in here: tinyurl.com/3tryd6au

That’s not “damaging”, that’s literally part of her job description. Don’t let posts like this act as evidence of wrongdoing. It was literally the job of Pence to do the same thing. It’s what a VP does.

🧵THREAD: What does a Kamala Harris Administration look like? While presiding over the U.S. Senate as VP she has cast the most tie-breaking votes (33) in history. These votes are not just politically polarizing but show how damaging a Kamala Harris White House would be. See for yourself: 👇

Agreed. Do NOT do this. Poll locations have a list of voters. If they suddenly see voters do this, that will confirm the Republican claims of tampering. It will only inflame and it’s very illegal to attempt to vote under a false name, vote twice or at different locations.

This is good. Noncompetes are too restrictive and overbearing with modern technology. If you want to preserve your intellectual property, an NDA can cover that. You don’t need to say worker X can’t work in a whole industry.
Yes! I’ve been fighting non-compete clauses for years. They are corporate tools to keep wages down and lock workers into bad jobs. Hurray for @linakhanFTC and the @FTC for winning this case.
