There is a certain type of person everywhere now, especially online. He consumes endless information every day: philosophy, psychology, productivity, spirituality, neuroscience, business, self-improvement, history. He knows a little about everything and deeply experiences almost nothing. His entire identity becomes built around understanding instead of living. He watches videos about confidence instead of speaking confidently. Reads about discipline instead of becoming disciplined. Studies relationships instead of learning how to love. Consumes motivational content instead of taking action. He feels intelligent because he is constantly mentally stimulated. But stimulation is not transformation. Most of the time, knowledge becomes emotional protection. Reality is unpredictable. Reality humiliates. Reality exposes weakness. Books and ideas do not. Inside information, he can continue imagining himself as intelligent, deep, insightful, different from ordinary people. So he remains trapped in preparation. He constantly feels as if he is "becoming" someone, while his real life remains strangely untouched. He develops sophisticated language for problems he never confronts directly. He can explain human behavior beautifully while being unable to handle ordinary discomfort, rejection, uncertainty, loneliness, or risk. He slowly turns life into observation instead of participation. The internet rewards this personality heavily. He receives validation for sounding aware rather than becoming capable. Eventually, he begins confusing self-analysis with growth and information with wisdom. But beneath the intelligence usually exists the same thing: fear. Fear of failure. Fear of embarrassment. Fear of reality answering back. Because action destroys fantasy. The moment he truly acts, he can no longer hide inside potential.
The fastest way to turn into a NPC is to fill every moment of stillness with audio books, podcasts, CEO interviews, tweets, threads, and YouTube videos. The fastest way to turn into the Main Character is to spend more time in stillness and give yourself 4 hours to create.

Start slowmaxxing. Pick up the long, heavy books. Make the cookies that take two days. Sit and watch birds for an hour. Spend 15 minutes on your coffee like it's a ritual. Breathe in. Breathe out. Slow down. That's the whole secret.

There's a guy who lives alone in the flat next to mine. He lives away from his parents, goes to the office around 10, comes back by 6, cooks his own meals, and spends his evenings singing. We spoke today, and I found out he's a CSE graduate from IIT Roorkee, earns around ₹70 LPA, and is divorced. Despite all that, he lives a very simple life. When I asked him what's next, he simply said, "I'm still figuring it out." Many people today have everything on paper: a great degree, a high-paying job, and financial security. But they don't have their people. The next big wave in India, especially in metro cities, will be people living alone. More money, more careers, more independence, but fewer people around them.

At 28, he looked like he was losing at life. ₹55,000 salary. No SUV. No iPhone. No branded clothes. No fancy weekends. People laughed at him. "What's the point of earning if you don't enjoy it?" While others upgraded their lifestyle with every salary hike, he quietly invested every month and stayed away from debt. Ten years later, the same people are still paying EMIs and credit card bills. The man they called boring owns assets, has a solid investment portfolio and sleeps peacefully without debt. The funny thing about wealth is that it looks boring while it's being built and impressive only after it's built.

As a man, Normalise a boring life. Go to bed early. Read long books. Drink tea. Regulate your nervous system. Spend time alone. Go for walks without headphones. Eat simple Food. Shrink your circle. Turn down the noise. Life doesn’t have to be loud to be magical.

Free advice from an expensive psychologist: If you are an anxious person, do everything for fun. Go to a job interview for fun. Submit documents for fun. Start a blog for fun. Anxiety feeds on importance. Don't turn everything into a matter of life or death.

You have to be extremely self aware for this as a man. You have to have the ability to sit with very uncomfortable truths about your parents, esp your father as a man, a husband & a parent. This is a very uncomfortable & disturbing process, given most men are avoidants!

A policy affecting 140 crore people; signed at 8PM, announced at a press conference the next morning. No White Paper. No Parliamentary debate. No public consultation. No independent impact study. Just a minister, a pen, and a family business waiting on the other side. Let’s talk about what this “policy” actually is: → Son Nikhil’s company Cian Agro: ₹18Cr → ₹523Cr revenue in one year → Their stock: ₹37 → ₹638. A 2,184% surge; while “the file” was being drafted → Son Sarang: Director at Manas Agro. Also in ethanol. Also quietly booming. Father writes the regulations. Sons hold the equity. And we’re supposed to call this a “national dream.” In any functioning democracy, a minister with direct family financial interests in a sector CANNOT unilaterally regulate that sector. That’s not politics, that’s a constitutional principle. Where is the Lokpal? Where is the Prime Minister? Where is the Parliament? The dream isn’t about ethanol. The dream is about a country where accountability has been fully, quietly, abolished.

#WATCH | Nagpur, Maharashtra: Union Minister Nitin Gadkari says, “Last night at 8 PM, I signed the file, finalising the regulations to legally authorise the use of 100% ethanol. I am delighted to share that I, along with Hardeep Singh Puri, had the opportunity to launch the 100% ethanol-compatible version of the WagonR—Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling car. Regarding motorcycles, Hero MotoCorp—which accounts for three out of every five motorcycles sold—has launched two flex-fuel models capable of running on 100% ethanol. Following this, companies like Toyota, Suzuki, MG, and Hyundai will launch 100% ethanol-compatible vehicles within the next month and a half. Thus, ethanol will serve as a viable alternative to petrol. People used to laugh when I spoke of this dream, and some friends even criticised it...Soon, we will launch a pilot project in Nagpur featuring a hydrogen pump and two hydrogen-powered buses. The public will be able to ride these hydrogen buses, which will be powered by green hydrogen extracted from water using an electrolyser. That day is now near.”
