The paper is now published on @AJHGNews! Again, this was a huge effort from brilliant PhD student (now Dr. !) @SamBarnada, in collaboration with many, and especially with essential contribution from @LabEHerrera. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…

New preprint from my lab! Led by superstar PhD student @SamBarnada in collaboration with @LabEHerrera and many others including @BrugmannLab, Kevin Peterson, Steve McMahon. We investigated the role of ARID1A (BAF) in neural crest cell specification (1/n) biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/…

Great to see this finally published in @Dev_journal! journals.biologists.com/dev/… Great effort by my postdoc @evodevomocracy, my student @SamBarnada, in collaboration with @jisaacmurray and his team! (And many thanks to @Y_Gilad for the chimp iPSCs!)
New preprint from my lab is out! We used human and chimp iPSCs, along with functional genomics, to study the evolution of hippocampal neurogenesis, focusing on a specific progenitor population seemingly involved with human-specific increase in hippocampal volume 1/n

My newly relocated lab at @imperialcollege is looking for a PhD student. For this particular position, the candidate will have to be already UK based. We are looking for someone interested in developmental genomics and/or evo/devo. Official ad will be out soon. Please RT 1/n

You can find the #RefereedPreprint version of @SamBarnada @marcotrizzino et al's paper at the Early Evidence Base platform, including the reviewer comments, authors' response & revised manuscript eeb.embo.org/doi/10.1101/202…

Great to see this finally published on @PLOSGenetics journals.plos.org/plosgeneti… My amazing student @SamBarnada led the effort, along with co-first author Andrew Isopi, but it was really a team effort! And kudos to @ReviewCommons for a very smooth revisions process.
