What to do if the #FNA material is stuck in the needle hub? Safely recap the needle using the plastic cover, a rubber top tube, a rubber safety recapping device or simply an eraser. Then perform the needle flick technique as demonstrated here by @SaeedAsiry @MyCytopathology

TTF-1 pitfall: while we rely on nuclear staining for tumors of lung/thyroid origin, hepatocytes can show granular cytoplasmic TTF-1 staining (clone-dependent). Always look for clean nuclear staining and correlate with markers like HepPar1, Arginase, and clinical context.#CytoPath

"Nothing is outright specific in Cytomorphology" - Papillary thyroid CA (PTC) on FNA displaying the impressive so-called "Intracytoplasmic Colloid Inclusions" (ICI). ICI has been considered a marker for "Hurthle Cell Neoplasm" but I have seen them numerous times in PTCs.
