Our Hind Rajab World Cup Jerseys are officially here, created with the blessings & permission of Wesam Rajab, the mother of Hind Rajab. We purposefully released them today, on the World Cup opening day, to remind the world that Gaza remains far more urgent than any event. 100% of profits from the collection are donated. This collection not only gives back to Hind Rajab’s immediate family but also funds on-ground charities in Gaza for food distribution, aid, and educational initiatives.

FYI for our haters: I know you want @zeteouk to fail but in less than 72 hours since our soft launch, we have over 20,000 subscribers in the UK, a big chunk of them paid (double our target number). To our supporters: thank you, and it's a great start, but we still need many more subscribers to compete with the mainstream media. Tell your friends, colleagues, family members; share the subscription link on your socials, far and wide. Let's change and improve the British media, together. zeteonews.co.uk

In my top 5 football songs ever. 🔥
Since Africa’s best ref Omar Artan is all over Twitter today, it’s worth remembering that Wavin’ Flag the 2010 World Cup song and one of the greatest football anthems ever was also by Somali artist @KNAAN 🇸🇴🇸🇴

Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write. This is the article: volkskrant.nl/kijkverder/v/2…

How is this not headline news all around the world? Why aren't these images everywhere? Imagine if this was an Israeli baby.
Heartbreaking farewell moments.. Fahd Abu Heikal carries the body of his infant son, Sam, who was killed yesterday evening in the city of Hebron, as relatives and family members bid him a sorrowful farewell.

The Israeli army shot dead a 7-month-old Palestinian baby in the West Bank. It was in broad daylight. The father says: "I stopped as I was instructed to, and then they simply shot at the car." Israel routinely kills babies - and the West is silent.
Earlier today, during operational activity in the area of Hebron, IDF soldiers perceived a vehicle accelerating toward them. An IDF soldier responded with single shots toward the vehicle. As a result, three Palestinians were injured and evacuated for medical treatment. An initial inquiry found that those injured were uninvolved civilians. The incident is under review, and the findings will be submitted for review by the relevant authorities. The IDF expresses deep sorrow for any harm caused to uninvolved individuals.

Virgil van Dijk on his first conversation with Jürgen Klopp before joining Liverpool from Southampton: 🗣️ “Before I signed for Liverpool, Jürgen Klopp called me and completely changed my vision. He didn’t speak to me like a manager trying to convince a player to join… he spoke to me like a man preparing someone for war. He told me: ‘Virgil, Liverpool is sleeping right now, but we are going to wake this giant up again. I need leaders. I need monsters who are not afraid of pressure.’ That hit me hard. Then he started talking about Anfield, the fans, the atmosphere on European nights. He said: ‘The moment you walk out at Anfield under the lights, your life will change forever.’ I already felt goosebumps before even wearing the shirt. Klopp didn’t promise me easy success or trophies. He promised intensity, sacrifice, pain, hard work, and the chance to become part of Liverpool history. That honesty made me trust him instantly. The moment I arrived, I understood everything he meant. The pressure was huge, but the love from the fans was even bigger. Looking back now, joining Liverpool wasn’t just a transfer… it was the decision that changed my entire career.”
