A personal note.  After years of public discussion/work: the podcast, social media, venture capital, everything — I'm stepping back to focus on my family. My kids are growing fast.  My wife deserves the best of me.  To everyone who listened, read, grew, and built alongside me — thank you. What a blessing you all have been!

Some clarifications: 1. Ref. the official press release, it’s only one shop, the duty free shop, Tax Free Norway upon arrival at Oslo airport, which accepts freedom money through @BtcpayServer and @blinkbtc ⚡️ 2. Tax Free Norway, Oslo airport only accepts sats through the lightning network and NFC on 3 x @Bitcoinize Point-of-Sales and not Bitcoin-onchain payments. 3. Regarding “Click & Collect: From the press release Oslo airport Gardemoen , December 17, 2025: “Travel Retail Norway (TRN), which operates tax-free shops at Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger, and Trondheim airports, is now introducing bitcoin payments for customers using Click & Collect upon arrival at Oslo Airport. This marks the first step in a planned rollout of digital payment alternatives. This option currently applies only to Click & Collect upon arrival at Oslo, but TRN is considering expanding to other stores and payment formats.” Onboarding by @NorthOfTheWalls 🫡 Who’s ready for paying with freedom money at Tax Free Norway, Oslo airport, when arriving for the @OsloFF, June 1-3, 2026, arranged by @gladstein and team @HRF o? Heard about miniscript but unsure of it’s utility or where to begin? Here is a beginners guide to help you get started - satoshiconsult.com/knowledge… . The thread below should help you understand why high networth individuals, businesses and family offices should consider using miniscript enabled wallets.

The sentiment can change in 3 months. But 1 BTC = 1 BTC in self custody, ref. @SimonDixonTwitt A @coinbase IOU ≠ Bitcoin, @saylor @MicroStrategy @BlackRock $MSTR $IBIT versus freedom money
In terms of Bitcoin. The financial-industrial complex is trying to centralise as much Bitcoin as possible. It wants Bitcoin as a useful tool for managing the final capital-outflow squeeze once it is ready, following its Western asset-stripping operations. Because Bitcoin is proof-of-work, this does not grant control over governance or long-term price discovery. However, it does provide the tools needed to manage short-term price action. They are in the accumulation phase. They want self-custody for themselves and institutional custody for everyone else, so they can channel large capital flows into Bitcoin whilst having an exit tool for sovereign wealth It’s a bit like the British Empire used tax-haven islands as an escape valve. In my opinion, it’s one of their exit strategies to manage their own sovereign wealth in a world where custody of vast gold reserves requires trusted custodians. Nothing changes in terms of how to prepare. Own more Bitcoin in self-custody this month than you did last month. Enjoy any price suppression while you can. It won’t last, in my opinion. The FIC will engineer volatility through MSTR and its derivatives to margin-call as much Bitcoin as possible while building out as many leverage tools as it can. It’s not even worth talking about “crypto.” That’s just a Silicon Valley grift, a way to supplement VC returns with added liquidity layered on top of private equity. “Crypto” is a technical industrial complex operation to build out the digital control grid. Great. But are you using your @Google Pixel Pro XL with @GrapheneOS, @lordmiles?
I have the most secure schizo phone outside of government. Google pixel 10 pro XL with graphene OS, all cameras removed, accelerometer removed, speakers removed, microphone removed and temp sensor removed. No USB-C board, port filled with epoxy. If the back is opened up, a circuit breaks and the memory is shocked with 80 volts.

The following from a recent post from @renepickhardt on Ark being an infrastructure layer between Bitcoin and Lightning is a powerful framing: “Rather than optimizing flows on a fixed graph, Ark enables structural changes to the topology of the graph itself, which potentially makes previously infeasible payments feasible.” is, imo, the most interesting argument. Ark isn’t primarily a better routing algorithm; it’s a mechanism for reshaping the payment graph over time. That’s a fundamentally different lever than liquidity rebalancing on a static channel graph. This also raises an interesting question for @ambosstech: Today, Amboss models liquidity, routing probability, and reliability on largely static LN graphs. Ark-style systems suggest a future where graph topology itself becomes dynamic and programmable. In other words, Ark may shift observability needs from “Where is the liquidity?” to “When and how should the graph change?” which feels like a fertile ground for network intelligence tooling. delvingbitcoin.org/t/ark-as-…
