Taking a break from X.
Today felt like everything completely unraveled—Elon and Trump managed to burn it all to the ground. I’ve lost a lot of hope, and I need time to step back.
I’ll be back when I’m ready.

Hi everyone, I’ve been quiet on here this past week, and I just wanted to share why. My family is going through an incredibly difficult time. My stepdad suffered a cardiac arrest after choking, and we’ve been by his side as the doctors work to assess the full extent of his brain injury. We’re still waiting on answers, but the situation is serious and heartbreaking. At the same time, my son has been dealing with severe stomach issues and abnormal test results that have kept us in and out of the hospital, trying to figure out what’s going on. And on top of all this, our sweet dog Rocky, who’s already in hospice care for heart failure, has taken a turn for the worse. My heart is heavy, and it’s been a lot all at once. I haven’t had the strength to be online, but I didn’t want to disappear without saying something. Please keep my family in your prayers — especially my stepdad, my son, and Rocky. Your thoughts, support, and prayers mean more than you know. I’ll be back when I can. With love, Stephany.

.@SecScottBessent: "[The CBO] came out and scored the tariff revenue, we think it will be the minimum of $2.8T over the 10-year window, which actually puts the bill in surplus if you include the tariff revenue — which they won't do."

Elon Musk can be one of your strongest allies—or your biggest obstacle—when the midterms come. Choose wisely.

Here we go again—this drama is unnecessary. President Trump is wrong to make these comments about Elon Musk. And honestly, how long before Musk starts backing the Democrats again? These two need to sit down, talk, and work things out. This public back-and-forth helps no one. 🙏 @elonmusk @POTUS
🚨 NEW: Trump speaks on Elon coming out against the BBB “I would have won Pennsylvania regardless of Elon…I’m very disappointed with Elon. He knew this bill better than anyone and he only developed a problem when he found out I would cut the EV mandate… When he left he said the most beautiful things about me, he hasn’t said anything bad yet but I’m sure that will be next…I’ve helped Elon a lot… Elon worked hard at DOGE and I think he misses the place…I think he got out there and he’s no longer in this beautiful Oval Office…it’s not just Elon, I think when some people leave they miss it so badly they develop a type of TDS…some embrace it and some become hostile.”
Community note
Trump’s claim about Musk being unhappy about the end of the EV tax credit is directly refuted by Musk’s public statements. x.com/elonmusk/statu…

🚨 OUTRAGE: 🇺🇸 Judge’s Order Halts Deportation of 8 High-Risk Criminals, Endangering ICE & DOD Officers! 🚨 On June 4, 2025, a federal judge blocked the deportation of eight high-risk criminal aliens, stranding them at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, in a converted Conex container lacking proper security for detention. Mellissa B. Harper, Acting Deputy Executive Associate Director of ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, detailed dire conditions in a sworn declaration: 11 ICE officers, working 12-hour shifts, guard these aliens in a conference room without adequate security, risking altercations. Officers face health risks from Djibouti’s 100°F heat, burn pit smog causing respiratory issues, and lack of antimalarial medication, with some now ill and relying on limited medical supplies. DOD resources are strained, and officers lack body armor amid rocket attack threats from Yemen. Critics on X slam the judge for overstepping, arguing this ruling prioritizes dangerous criminals over the safety of ICE and DOD personnel. The aliens’ violent records heighten concerns, and Harper’s team struggles to maintain custody under these conditions. 🚨 JUST IN: 🇺🇸 DOJ Seeks Pretrial Jail for Emily Sommer Over Tweet Violating Release Conditions! 🚨 The Department of Justice is requesting a federal judge detain Emily Gabriella Sommer, 32, pretrial after she allegedly violated her release conditions by tweeting at former interim U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin Jr. on June 3, 2025. Sommer, charged with assault for spitting on Martin during a May 8 Newsmax interview, was released after her May 22 arrest but barred from contacting Martin. The DOJ claims her tweet, posted from her @EmilyGabriellaS account, breached this condition. Prosecutors also cite Sommer’s alleged spitting and kicking of U.S. Marshals during custody as grounds for detention, warning of potential additional assault charges and a possible stalking charge due to her repeated online targeting of Martin. Sommer’s attorneys argue the tweet was not threatening and detention is excessive. A hearing is set for June 6. X posts are divided, with some calling it a free speech issue, others supporting DOJ’s push for accountability. Sources: DOJ filing, AP, X posts #EmilySommer #DOJAction s3.documentcloud.org/documen…

🚨 #BREAKING: 🇺🇸 Supreme Court Unanimously Rules for Ohio Woman in Reverse Discrimination Case! 🚨 On June 5, 2025, the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously revived Marlean Ames’ lawsuit against the Ohio Department of Youth Services, ruling that she faced workplace discrimination due to her heterosexual orientation. Ames, employed since 2004, alleged she was denied a promotion to bureau chief in 2019 and demoted from her role as PREA administrator, with both positions given to gay colleagues under a gay supervisor. The Court struck down the Sixth Circuit’s “background circumstances” rule, which required majority-group plaintiffs like Ames to provide extra evidence of discrimination, deeming it inconsistent with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson wrote that Title VII applies equally, stating, “Discrimination based on sexual orientation, whether gay or straight, is prohibited.” The ruling, impacting 20 states, makes it easier for majority groups to pursue reverse discrimination claims. Ames’ case returns to lower courts, though her ultimate success remains uncertain. Sources: NPR, CBS News, SCOTUSblog #SCOTUS #ReverseDiscrimination

🚨 BREAKING: 🇺🇸🇨🇳 President Trump and Xi Jinping Hold First Call Since Inauguration Day! 🚨 On June 5, 2025, President Donald Trump spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping in their first known call since Trump’s January 20 inauguration, as confirmed by China’s U.N. ambassador and the Chinese Embassy. The 20-minute call, initiated at Trump’s request, focused on trade tensions, with Trump pushing for China to curb fentanyl trafficking and address the $600 billion trade imbalance. Xi emphasized China’s reliance on “self-reliance” amid escalating tariffs, including Trump’s 10% duties on Chinese goods and China’s retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports like Google products. No major agreements were announced, but Trump called the talk “productive” on TruthSocial, while China’s Foreign Ministry remained noncommittal. X posts show skepticism, with some calling it a sign of Trump’s eagerness to deal despite Beijing’s hardline stance. The call follows a May 2025 tariff pause agreement, now at risk as tensions rise. 🚨 UPDATE: 🇬🇹🇺🇸 Guatemalan Deportee O.C.G. Returns to U.S. After Court Order, Despite Complex Deportation Case! 🚨 On June 4, 2025, O.C.G., a gay Guatemalan man, was flown back to the U.S. on a commercial flight to California, following a federal court order by Judge Brian Murphy. O.C.G. was deported to Mexico in February 2025, despite an immigration judge granting him withholding of removal, barring deportation to Guatemala due to persecution fears over his sexuality. In Mexico, he was offered asylum but declined, citing prior rape and ransom there, and chose to return to Guatemala, where he lived in hiding. Murphy ruled the deportation to Mexico lacked due process, as O.C.G. wasn’t given a chance to contest it or contact his lawyer. Now in ICE custody in Arizona, O.C.G. faces potential deportation to another country, as his original removal order stands. X posts question the return, noting he may face deportation again, while others argue it corrects a legal error. Sources: The Guardian, ABC News, Reuters #ImmigrationRuling #DueProcess
