It's not doing any of that because bitcoin's purpose is and has always been monetary, and BIP-110 helps to ensure this remains the case with neutrality and censorship resistance. If this fails to remain the case, it is bitcoin as money will be censored out of existence by competing use cases that hog resources, time, attention, block space, etc.
Bitcoin is NOT arbitrary data storage with costs socialized to an unwilling network of node runners who want freedom money and not poop jpegs or CSAM. Change what bitcoin is and then claiming that people standing in the way are censoring you is a BAD FAITH argument and obviously incorrect if you can think past first order logic and consequences.
Bitcoin as money and bitcoin as arbitrary data storage CANNOT live side-by-side, according to every other form of money that has ever existed. One must destroy the other to survive and arbitrary data storage takes up node resources and displaces the monetary use case like a parasitic organism. This will eventually destroy bitcoin entirely, as node runners and plebs lose faith, but before that happens, a lot of bad faith actors in the space will get rich off of shitcoin projects built on the back of the remaining integrity they are leeching.
No one is talking about stopping spam entirely, this has always been and always will remain a straw man, BAD FAITH argument. It is obvious that stopping ANYTHING entirely is impossible. The argument is that locking the doors and windows make break-ins more difficult, NOT impossible. I'm losing any remaining shred of faith or patience I have for people making arguments to the contrary as even a 5-year-old can see the logic of this.
So because someone doesn't want a loud minority of users to destroy bitcoin's neutrality and censorship resistance while breaking miniscript and not even stopping spam anyway they automatically like spam?
Do you even hear yourself?
