.NET 10 ships in a few hours. I’m very excited about the release. 10 years ago a few of us got pulled into a room to spike the first version of a new cross platform, open source .NET. We’re 10 years in and extremely proud of how far the product has come. #dotnet

.NET STS releases now supported for 2 years instead of 18 months starting with .NET 9 (the current STS). STS releases now go out-of-support on the same day as the previous LTS release. Upgrading to an STS release will no longer cause you to lose support! devblogs.microsoft.com/dotne…

so i'm a regal unlimited guy and all the summer blockbusters are basically fine, but i probably did enjoy these 4 horror films (and naked gun) more than anything so far this year.
How rare is it that since the 2nd weekend in April the 4 best rated movies are all horror? @SinnersMovie at 97%, #FinalDestinationBloodlines at 93%, #Together at 91% and #Weapons 100%. @warnerbros has 3 of them. Incredible.

like final destination wasn't exactly original but it was FUN and well execute. together, sinners, and weapons are actually kind of ambitious and weird and original

utter madness. although the brutalist and conclave picks were good. i wonder what percentage of this is people not being able to tell score from songs in musical (emilia perez and wicked)
No best original score Oscar nomination for CHALLENGERS’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross is ridiculous

One of the world's two best interviewers interviewing the other
I hassled @tylercowen about why he doesn't expect explosive economic growth from AGI. How could we possibly add 100 billion extra workers and only get 0.5% more growth? Also featuring Stalin's library, EU decels, and how Churchill was an underachiever. Hilarious and provocative throughout. My 4th interview with Tyler. He surprises me every time. Enjoy!
