I’m grateful to hear that Ricky Pearsall has been released from the hospital. My thoughts are with him and his family, and I wish him a swift recovery. Today, I visited Union Square to thank our @SFPD officers for their dedication to keeping our city safe every day. Thanks to their swift response to yesterday’s robbery involving Ricky Pearsall, an immediate arrest was made. This action sends a clear message: if you come to San Francisco to commit crimes, our officers will arrest you, and our District Attorney will hold you accountable. While violent crime is down in our city, accountability is essential whenever someone becomes a victim—no matter the neighborhood or time of day. Walking around Union Square today with Marisa Rodriguez from the Union Square Alliance, I spoke with workers and shoppers and was reminded of our city’s resilience and the pride people take in being part of our future. We remain committed to building a strong, vibrant, and safe San Francisco.

ONE WEEK AGO TODAY: We were expecting a 5 minute photo-op, if we were lucky. Instead, @POTUS took almost a FULL HOUR to give us a detailed, comprehensive tour of the Oval Office & surrounding areas. He was so generous with his time, telling stories about his childhood, his children, his early days in politics & the current issues he feels most passionate about to improve the lives of all Americans. He was everything you wanted him to be & MORE: personable, relatable & funny with the dignity, kindness & empathy that makes him the exact President we need at this point in time. Thank you @JoeBiden- it was an incredible day we'll never forget! #BidenHarris4MoreYears 🇺🇸 (Also grateful for @rag_bone making sure I was properly attired for the WH)

Ok, I’m not leaving twitter, but I did remove it from my phone last week—for the first time in 13 years. Unintentionally, I’m now checking LinkedIn🤷🏻‍♀️ Sharing this now because I suspect it won’t happen again.
