Michigan Drain Commissioners were in Lansing today, and I had the pleasure of presenting Livingston County Drain Commissioner Brian Jonckheere with a framed copy of a recent Pipeline Magazine article highlighting Livingston County’s Septage Receiving Station and its role in transforming wastewater handling in Michigan. Since opening in 2007, the facility has kept more than 413 million gallons of untreated septic waste out of local waterways.
