I was executive director of TXGOP on this date in 2004 running state convention w/over 11k delegates, alternates & guests. We raised over $1 million; left convention debt free. Maybe it’s time for a State Chair that understands how to raise $$$ and work w/leadership. #LeadRight

Today, I passed a bill creating the Gulf Coast Protection District - the next BIG step in obtaining federal funding to build the Coastal Barrier/ Ike Dike. Like the Galveston Seawall, this project will protect our citizens and economy for generations to come. #BuildtheIkeDike
