06:05 Shirebrook crews were mobilised to a 2 car RTC, 1 adult male trapped.
Working along @nottsfire Warsop crew the casualty was extracted & left in the care of EMAS .

Firefighters across the UK fell silent at 11am today in memory of firefighter Barry Martin, who died last month from injuries sustained at the Jenners fire in Edinburgh.Β

Never venture onto frozen water.
It is extremely dangerous, no matter how safe or solid it looks.
If a person or animal is in difficulty β do not attempt to enter the water to rescue them β call 999 immediately.

20:08 crews received a call regarding children playing on the frozen pond at Shirebrook Leisure centre.
Thankfully the children had safely exited the pond.
With the recent tragic Incident that has taken place in West Midlands please remind your children of the danger of Ice.
