Flying low level parallel, close to the shoreline in an aircraft is never a good idea for the reason shown in this video. To avoid bird strikes it’s better to fly above 2000ft. Although it looks in this video the pilot has been forced down by low cloud. facebook.com/reel/1102344358…

Or fly further away from the shoreline or cross the shoreline at an angle to minimise time where you will encounter higher densities of birds.

3 April 1933. A Westland PV-3 Wapiti and a Westland PV-6 Wallace became the first aeroplanes to fly over the top of Mount Everest, at 32,000 feet, to photograph the summit from above.
