Please watch till the end. She said she had to let the tenants go so she could repurpose the building for a gap she saw in the corporate market. youtube.com/watch?v=gDI2cCdd…

this is one of the highest forms of magic available btw. the equivalent of a daily spell. some call it prayer, some call it manifestation, some call it quantum leaping, but the infinite driving force behind it is the same. and it always delivers.
This may seem like "woo woo" nonsense but if you want to alter the world around you, then you need to do this: Everyday for the past 3 month I've written in cursive the story of my future self. I write over and over that I already have the life I want want. More clients, more income, more success. And guess what? Everything I write freaking happens. Do with this information what you want, but there is something powerful behind scripting your own future.

Le dije a mi madre que no entendía por qué me afectaban tanto las cosas y me contestó “tu mundo es tan pequeño que cualquier cosa que pasa en él es grande”.

After university, you have a few years to lock in and change the trajectory of your life—from poor, to middle class, and gradually to rich. If you waste those years because you think you have time, you risk becoming part of the statistics of the average person. Grind and fight for your future now so you don't end up as one of those people who had potential but never became anything with it. Pressure yourself. Diamonds are formed under pressure.

I just remembered how excited I was to stop using pencils and start writing with a pen in Primary 3. Funny how the smallest things felt like major milestones back then. If only I knew 😭

you will never outperform your self image. the man who sees himself as average will always find a way to stay average no matter what opportunities land in front of him. fix the image first.

You only need 1 hour. 1 hour of building. 1 hour of writing. 1 hour of lifting. 1 hour of studying. 1 hour of any form of bettering yourself, because it quickly compounds. 1 hour feels like nothing until you look back 365 hours later and everything's changed.

Gen Z realizing one of the biggest shocks after college is that life no longer happens around you. In school, friends, events, relationships, and opportunities are built into your environment. As an adult, if you don't actively create a social life, weeks can turn into months surprisingly fast.

The voice telling you that you are not ready has never once watched you do the thing. Your job right now is to do the thing to teach the voice in your head what normal looks like.

"Just do good work and continue to post about it" Advice too real. A young friend that year was very reserved. But he wrote quite consistently on his blog, regarding a few tech insights. I encouraged him to continue this way when he was placed at Flutterwave as a corps members until one day, GB himself told him, "i saw what you wrote...", pulled him into a high level meeting, and plugged him into a significant project in-house. The rest is history. You think people don't notice what you do? Enter shege first, then you'll know there are always eyes watching.
Tbh for most of the checks I have written, I reached out to the founders myself and extended them an offer. Just do good work and continue to post about it. More people notice it than you think.

I wrote down exactly who I want to be and what I want my life to look like. then I asked what does he do. how does he start his day. what does he eat. when does he sleep. how does he handle the hard conversations. what does his work look like. I wrote all of it down. then I just started doing it. you don't have to feel like him first. you act like him until you are him.

Five wasted years can be fixed by one focused one. The timeline feels unfair until you realize how fast discipline compounds. You are never as far behind as you think.
