Contrary to how it is presented, this is not a change to existing regulation or practice. And the evidence/science is with grain growers as well

The suggestion on the @WACountryHour of a moratorium on the export of hay/fodder from WA is a terrible idea.
Trumped only by the suggestion to graze state forests in order to alleviate the feed shortage (rather than prescribed burning).

Last year we learnt as little as 5mm was enough to achieve 50% Canola establishment in April on dry Mallee sand! This year we went earlier before Easter before 4 days above 30c and we still achieved it. #canolaistough @theGRDC
