A new MMF-led study has shown that reef manta rays *do* swim between Mozambique and South Africa – and, interestingly, there are some teeny flappers down amongst the Sardine Run off the Eastern Cape of SA.

Although I’d prefer not to be bitten by a cookie cutter, they’re not even on the top 10 list of sharks I’d prefer not to be bitten by. They also don’t make the Top 10 dove with. I’m glad they exist but they’re middling at best.
