It has been a real struggle to find my peers from a working class background in this industry. Can feel like you're talking a different language, especially at events or in rooms. Kids laugh when I ask if they'd consider the industry as a career. Diversity! #screenwriting

I worked in Childrens Services for 20 years, 5 of those I spent in the North side of Cork City. I met girls who said no one cares, no one listens to us. I told them let's put your stories on a screen and MAKE them listen. So we did. @X_Pollinator_ they're listening to us now 💪
