Made a blog post about how I would approach making your first VN in 2026 given the…less than friendly environment towards indie VNs.
TLDR: Don’t use AI. Don’t spend thousands. Dont’ do an asset flip. Write a story BASED on cohesive, royalty free assets.

Finished “Nice To Meet You Again.”
An objectively well made time travel story. Love COQ’s art as always. But I kinda kept waiting for an “OH SHIT” moment that never really came.
Kept wanting to be surprised but just couldn’t be. But it is still very good.

One common sentiment I’ve seen since sharing my story about Steam false flagging my game as adult only has been:
“Bro, it wasn’t even banned! False flagged, sure, but not BANNED. What’s the big deal?”
