Over the last few years, I’ve heard from so many people who care deeply about what’s happening in our country but aren’t sure where to start.
That’s why I wrote Ordinary People, Extraordinary Times.
It’s a practical guide for anyone who wants to make a difference, take action, and help shape our shared future. The book is out August 25, and pre-orders are open now. ordinarypeopleaction.com/

Despite the admin’s shifting explanations about the future of the slush fund, this order is a victory that ensures taxpayer dollars cannot be distributed while our case continues.
And for the record, I will put the @DemocracyFwd team up against any adversary.

Removing President Trump’s name from the Kennedy Center branding is just the beginning.

When the courts fail, it shows us the harm our government is causing, Skye Perryman, CEO of Democracy Forward, says.
“And if you want to be able to make change, you’ve got to be able to look that harm in the mirror and not blink and take the next action.”

Some of us didn’t melt down on the Sunday shows. The President can continue writing checks he can’t cash — we’ll continue meeting him in court every time. Thank you @democracyfwd
The Trump administration admitted that a DOGE team member entered into an agreement with an organization that has been active in seeking to overturn state election results, Skye Perryman, CEO of @DemocracyDocket, says.
“Trump and this administration are trying to undermine people’s ability to vote and for votes to be counted.”
The court's ruling reaffirms: the federal government cannot shut down lawful immigration pathways based on political targeting, fear, and discrimination.

As the Trump-Vance admin is attempting to evade accountability and create one of the most brazen abuse of taxpayer funds in modern history, we are seeing two senators — a Democrat and a Republican — join our fight to oppose this corrupt slush fund. nytimes.com/2026/06/04/us/po…
Unlawfully censoring “the soldiers’ paper” is an insult to the members of the armed forces who dedicated their lives to protecting our constitutional principles – including freedom of speech.

Today I joined brave plaintiffs, including @CommonCause, along with @SenWhitehouse and @SenatorDurbin to call on Congress and demand an end to Trump’s slush fund.
As lawyers, we will continue to do our jobs. It’s time for our lawmakers to do the same.

NEW: The Trump administration signals it is backing off the creation of a $1.8 billion fund announced by the Justice Dept. that could send money to allies of President Trump deemed “victims of lawfare and weaponization.”. nbcnews.com/politics/trump-a…
Until the administration fully abandons the scheme, it's beyond dispute that it will not recur, and our clients' harm is remedied, we will be in court challenging it.
We look forward to the government’s response to the courts and to our filings, and to prevailing on behalf of our clients.
