The Dobbs decision didn't reflect where most Americans stand. Neither have many of the attacks we've seen on voting rights and reproductive freedom. That's why organizing, voting, and showing up matter now more than ever. With @DemocracyFwd and @SkyePerryman

People won those victories. Not because institutions suddenly did the right thing. Not because progress was inevitable. People organized. People demanded change. Every right we have today exists because ordinary people fought for it. With @DemocracyFwd and @SkyePerryman

When Roe fell, communities built abortion funds. Volunteers organized rides. Providers showed up. Advocates created networks to help people get care. You can overturn Roe. You cannot stop people from fighting for reproductive freedom. @SkyePerryman @DemocracyFwd

Thank you @mintimm and @reproforall for speaking out about the importance of passing my Freedom to Travel for Health Care Act. We can’t stand back while anti-choice extremists attack our basic rights. That’s why I’m fighting to defend reproductive freedom.

When our rights are on the line, the answer isn't waiting for someone else to save us. It's making a plan to vote, helping a friend get to the polls, and showing up for our communities. Real change has always come from people demanding it.

Still reflecting on an incredible Activist Summit. Three days filled with learning, organizing, laughter, strategy, community, and hope. Grateful for everyone who shared their stories and recommitted to the work ahead. The future is built by those willing to fight for it. 💜

Happy Pride Month! This month is important for many reasons but for me, it’s impossible not to think about my mom. She came out in the 1980’s — though I’m not sure she would have called it coming out, since we hid it from most people in suburban Detroit at that time. She passed away before gay marriage was legal across the country. I was interviewed about her last year — see below. I know she would be so proud of the progress that’s been made since her time. But I also know she’d be dismayed by some of the backsliding that’s gone on, and would want us to keep on fighting. So this Pride Month, that’s the mission — on behalf of those who fought in a very different time, and for those who are just starting out in life. lgbtqnation.com/2025/05/sen-…

The NJ Senate has taken great steps to expand the state's shield law with the passage of SB 2260: This law would include: 🛡️ Protections for Gender-Affirming Care 🏥 Expansion of Clinic Access Protections ⚖️ Additional Interstate Shield Law Safeguards

I beg and plead with people to remember this from like 8-11pm on Tuesday night and restrain the takes. The trajectory of the count once the E-Day/late VBM counts start coming in are likely to be just as important than the initial count…and then there’s LA County…….
There's probably going to be a blue mirage of epic proportions in the CA primary this Tuesday. Democrats were clearly holding onto their ballots (trying to figure out gov vote?) Partisanship of returned ballots went from D 4 to D 12 in less than week.

Happy #AANHPIHeritageMonth! 💜 According to @NAPAWF research, 84% of AAPI women agree that people should be able to make their own abortion decisions without government interference. Our voices matter. Our votes matter. And in 2026, this fight is ours to win.

It cannot be overstated how many men in positions of power in the fields of business/finance, politics and entertainment got there because they married into generational wealth and benefited from their wives’ financial safety net, social status and connections
During his divorce, Jack Welch’s first wife busted out decades of dinner invitations, seating charts, and correspondence to prove that he could not have written to the top of the corporate world without her meticulous cultivation of relationships among the elite

This is the reality of abortion bans. Patients experiencing medical emergencies are being forced to wait, suffer, and risk their lives because anti-abortion politicians inserted themselves into deeply personal medical decisions.

The Democratic Party is wildly unpopular, and if people think either the cause or fix originates from the DNC then you have very little understanding of what the DNC does. Or you do know and you're just trying to score points.
“It’s just a perfect metaphor for the failures of the national Democratic Party,” says @ZachWahls. “You can’t even complete a review of why you lost an election, and then you wonder why you keep losing elections.” tinyurl.com/3t7pbaem

Families deserve compassion, medical freedom, and care rooted in humanity — not policies that create fear, shame, or trauma during one of the most vulnerable moments in life. Pregnancy should be met with support. Not political cruelty.
