Session today with the @themoderndaygk original VOS gloves. Haven’t used them for a few seasons due to time but man they are awesome. Really have to concentrate and have to say dropped the off one which was way better than when I first wore them! Love them!

Starting tomorrow: Net and Wall games have common tactical strategies - is our line of inquiry. Starting out with exposure, rotation of seven different games, all with ways to differentiate with equipment. GIFs made for each one which when filmed turned competitive 😂

Concept Based Inquiry sequence on Net and Wall games coming soon. Excited to see how the students engage with the variety of games. Aim is to expose students to different games and see if they can make connections between skills, rules, attacking & defending concepts.

How can the UK Gov expect a change in PE when it is not seen as a priority for class teachers. Surely, employing a full time specialist is a far better model. As a former class teacher in UK, I understand PE was never top of the list. Due to demands elsewhere.

As a specialist, its all PE! I have time to plan more engaging, thought provoking and enjoyable lessons. My teaching of PE is soooo much better than it used to be! Foster should look at the model international primary school take with specialist PE lessons.

Tchoukball Sport Ed season up and running and what a start! Using #padlet allowed teams to see my example profile and allow them to create their own logos on canva, write a code of play and take team photos. @RyanParkerPE ever thought about integrating tech into your seasons?

Sport Ed has begun - teams creating names, team photos, team badges & a “code of play” that they will write explaining. Each team posts on Padlet it will be the one stop shop for everyone & league standings. #physed #tchoukball #sported
