According to an eyewitness, an ICE agent was run over and seriously injured by a suspect who fled during an enforcement action. The agent’s body was reportedly mangled in the incident.
This wasn’t just a hit-and-run. This was a deliberate act of violence against a federal officer trying to do his job. This should 100% be treated as ATTEMPTED MURDER.
An ICE agent was hit by a car Monday morning in Manahawkin, New Jersey while attempting to apprehend a suspect. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. near the Jersey Shore, less than 10 miles from Long Beach Island.
According to Stafford Township Police, the suspect fled in a vehicle and struck the immigration officer. The agent then fired at the fleeing car, reportedly hitting the vehicle.
The suspect remains at large. Police have not released any further details about the individual or the outcome of the shooting at this time.
