June is a fantastic month for spotting some of Solihull's amazing flowers such as this southern marsh orchid - whose beautiful pink-purple spikes can be found at Cole Bank Park LNR
We are working with contractors from @ebsford to restore a 550m section of the Alder Brook in Tudor Grange Park β removing the concrete lined channel to restore the brook to a more natural state. With funding support from the @EnvAgencyMids and ERDF.
Works to restore a section of the Alderbrook in Brueton Park LNR are continuing with over 100mΒ³ of concrete removed from the channel. Pond creation will increase water storage capacity in the area whilst providing important wildlife habitat. @WKWT@EnvAgency
