I am humbled and honored to receive the 2026 Hill Prize in Medicine from @TAMESTX and Lyda Hill Philanthropies. We received this exciting recognition for our efforts to develop and eye drop treatment for wet AMD, a project which is informed by our extensive prior work in exosome-mediated barrier penetration in other organ systems, such as brain. The 2026 Hill Prize in Medicine honors all of my lab teammates, and Dr. Kaira Church who is leading the AMD studies.
📣Our secret is OUT! Cancer keeps us busy, but one experiment led to another…and we invented an EYE DROP therapy for AMD! Thrilled to share that this work has been awarded the @TAMESTX 2026 Hill Prize in Medicine Our iEV eye drops are poised to disrupt the industry standard!
