After a lovely day yesterday doing Romans for P3 @ Knoxland PS, Dumbarton i've packed away all my costumes & equipment now until the new school year. Looking forward to some quality family time, hols and a certain big birthday. π

History Alive In Schools back into action today with a visit to P5-7 at Holy Name RC Primary in Oakley, Fife doing a WW2 session. Thank you for having me, thanks to all the help with carrying my gear out of school afterwards. Enjoyed visiting you all. π

Feels like it's been a long week. Monday up to Balloch & stayed over for trips to St. Lucy's PS, Cumbernauld (WW2) & Abercromby PS, Tullibody (Vikings). Back to North Ayrshire (Thursday) for todays trip to Burnside PS, Rutherglen for Vikings. Home now. π

The end of another busy week which saw me presenting WW2 @ Goldenhill PS, Clydebank and @ Hillhead PS, Kilmarnock & Ancient Egypt today @GirvanPrimary - next week it's WW2 again in Cumbernauld then Vikings in Tullibody & Rutherglen. #HistoryAliveInSchools

I had a super morning yesterday with P7 at Goldenhill Primary School in Clydebank doing a WW2 workshop. Thank you for the lovely welcome and a huge thank you to the staff and pupils who helped with carrying all my gear into & out of school. π

I haven't been doing much Tweeting of late as i've been busy. My 'History Alive In Schools' diary has been full since the end of January - this week I am off to do 3 Romans & Roman Scotland Workshops plus an Ancient Egypt workshop on Friday. π

First workshop of 2023 yesterday with a visit to Barassie PS. Bookings trickling in steadily for this term. It looks like I could be quite busy with historyaliveinschools.com this year. I've also been making lots more props & costumes so loads of new bits.
