Undulatus Asperatus Clouds โ˜๏ธ These clouds have a dark, wavy appearance, almost as if the sky is in a state of turmoil. They often look like the rough, churning surface of a lake, but seen from below They form when air at the base of the cloud is being pushed downward.

Pannus, or scud clouds โ˜๏ธ, is a type of fractus cloud at low height above ground, detached, and of irregular form, found beneath nimbostratus or cumulonimbus clouds. These ones were caught on camera by Zachary Lane in Marion County, South Carolina.
