When it rains…. it pours!!!!!!! 🙈 My husband tore his bicep tendon yesterday and will be having surgery next week. We'd appreciate your prayers. It's kind of hard to believe that both of us have now injured our biceps badly enough to need surgery within six months of each other. He's laughing in this picture because I was teasing him about the little girl yelp he let out when it happened. 🫢Thankfully, we can laugh about it now, but we'd sure appreciate prayers for a successful surgery and a smooth recovery. ❤️🙏

As many of you know, my daddy passed away in February. I’ve been trying to get his house ready to sell after the people who lived there for over a year absolutely trashed it. In my grief, I hired a contractor who made a lot of promises, and I didn’t do the proper research I normally would have. So far, he has taken approximately $20,000, and the house still looks terrible. The only thing that looks good is the deck. Now I’m having to find another contractor to come in and fix what he started. From now on, I’ll hire people job by job. I will never again hire someone to come in promising to make a house “turnkey ready.” What a mess. We are not wealthy people, and this has been such a hard lesson on top of losing my dad. I haven’t been posting much of anything because of all of the stress in my life and because I’ve been mourning the loss of my daddy. It’s so hard when both parents are gone, and it hasn’t been long since my mama passed away either. Some days it all just feels very heavy. 😢 I sincerely appreciate your prayers.

It’s very common for supersessionists to blame the Scofield Reference Bible entirely for the existence of Evangelical belief that God still has present and future plans for the Jewish people. I’m a lifelong Evangelical, and I’ve never seen a Scofield Reference Bible in person so far as I know, and had never read any of Scofield’s study notes until a few weeks ago when @not_our_guy posted screenshots of some of them. Spoiler: they’re far more tame than Scofield’s haters imagine them to be. I’m quite certain that Taylor Marshall has never read them. But just imagine hating the idea that God is not done with Israel so much that you muse on X about banning a book. Insane.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I’m being treated for ear infections and strep throat. So far I’m on day two of the antibiotics and still running a fever. 🤒 Hopefully soon I will start feeling better. 🙏

Prayers needed. ❤️ I have a double ear infection. My ears are swollen, lymph nodes are huge, and I’m in tremendous pain. I’ve been running a fever all day with cold chills. My doctor can’t see me until next week, so I’ll be seen by the nurse practitioner tomorrow. The last time this happened, it turned into an infection in my mastoid air cells, and I ended up losing some hearing. My shoulder is still hurting day and night, even though I’m continuing physical therapy. I had surgery on December 9, and my shoulders are still not even. The one I had surgery on sits more forward and looks larger. I have an upcoming appointment, God willing, but if my orthopedic surgeon doesn’t listen to me this time, I will be seeking a second opinion. Please pray the Lord will strengthen me. I’m under significant stress in my life which could be the reason I’m so sick rn.
